Blogging and Studying/Working

Kewteepye on Blogging, Tips, Advise, Student, Working

I have a time table I devised to help me to know when to study, work (new job whooo ) and blog.
But sometimes I can't get the last activity out of my head.
What advise would you give to part time bloggers to keep it up and stay within the field

"kewt" s/n ^_^

well, I have a planner and I write down goals and tasks to complete for blogging every day. like today, my goal is to set up another section of my website.

if I have a really busy day and can't get much blogging done, I have two tiny things that I try to accomplish:
1. leave 2 facebook comments
2. find a few people on Twitter to chat with
really quick and easy, but it's the least i can do and it is better than nothing!

I'm a full time student and also work part time so I know how difficult it can be sometimes to keep on top of regular posting on my blog.

One of the most helpful things I've done is to pre-write and schedule my blog posts because then I'm able to focus on writing assignments and doing research for my course.

As well as this I use social media like Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr etc to write a few statuses or links to blog posts to keep the blog traffic up when I don't have the time to write much. It definetly helps.

I agree. Scheduling posts is a great help and allows me to focus on school and work. When I get ideas I jot them down then set aside specific time to write and schedule blog posts.

I've started scheduling, too but sometimes blogspot doesn't switch on :)

and gentou, I am hopefully going to swim with this new responsibility of work as well as studying :)
How do you do it, wonder woman
what degree are you studying?

it's definitely time management. don't think to much, and talk too much to other people to stay on your schedule.

For me, like you I set a time table like plan, but I don't always follow it all the time, but I do have a rule hammer into me which is even if you don't follow the timetable at least jump to it and do half a frame or so once and again, so that on my last day I'm not overloaded with about 20 frames to make XD

For me it's completely different, I take blogging seriously but I won't die if I don't post one day but if I stop working or not doing the rest... I could be in serious problems, if you know what I mean.

I think it's up to you to see how important it is for you and how much of your time do you want to invest and what you would have in return. But I think you should take it easy.
