Sorry to say but your style of blogging isn't new. I did find plenty others like yours. May perhaps you could try vlogging? Vlog = Video Blog. You could record yourself talking about stuff and do some basic video editing but overtime, you'll get better. Plus, it gives you another channel to socialize at like Youtube, Vimeo and other video social sharing channels.

As I write also about various things, I think you have done better way. You have separated different things so if your reader isn't into something there's always something else to read easily findable.
I would add more chances to follow your blog. Such as bloglovin, blogspots following etc.
Also I find front page a bit restless. I would make a lot clearer separation from different topics. Like a box around fashion and style so they would stand out a bit that they aren't the same thing. Atleast for my eyes it's bothering to not have clear line separating each topic from another :P Everything just seems to blend into one and same thing when nothing is separating them clearly and it kills my interest. I assume I'm not only one like this!
But otherwise I think your blog is nice! It's really interesting to read and I love your style

I like the new direction of your Lifestyle tab. Many times the reader wants to know a bit more about the actual blogger to connect with them and not just read about topics. I enjoy the layout of your blog.
I have gotten into the habit of including pictures as Michelle mentioned to break up the content and help tell the story. I am also placing my blog on more places where people can find it and follow.
Keep up the good work! I am still learning myself.
