I am eager to know if people have had dreams that have been intuitive .

o surely dreams do have meanings...about 9 years ago i saw a dream that i was chained nd being carried towards a cell nd believe me right after month of that dream i was married....lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Haha very funnnie Shahid :p.. nay but in my hostel days, people used to have so many exciting things to share bout their drems and how it guided them in real life , thought I would hear interesting stories here too but :(
Well...I had a dream I was marrying one of my friends, but people were telling to not do it. The next day I was going to go somewhere late at night, remembered my dream & decided not to go. Turns out a major car accident had happened along the road I would have been on at the time I would have been on it. Perhaps I was spared, and perhaps nothing would have happened to me. Who know?
Thanks for sharing Cookeezrus. My fren had a dream where she saw herself walking downstairs and then any jobs or loans she applied was rejected and later she saw herself walking upstairs strange but yeah she got a job and her car loan was approved she got a new civic .. I m not telling she got it coz of her dream, but somewhere somehow we get the message for our lives if we are keen enough to hear it , Cheers !!!
actually i've had a dream when my mom was little and she ended up telling me it really happened
I had dreams that told me someone is either going to:
1. Die
2. Die
3. Runaway
4. Be your worst enemy.
and they often come true. I wish I could tell which ones are true and which ones aren't. That always pisses me off.
I get nightmares, too. These nightmares are worse than your usual dose of movies and tv series on paranormal activities.
Sometimes I see dead people during my lucid dreams and that shit is scary as hell.
i really think 'yes'
u know why because i dreamt of going to america once an now iam in america...strange!!!
well dreams sometime preict our future ambitions too...
Sabrina that must have been a goose-bump moment :)
Phamiel, that sounds really interesting but at the same time threatening.. I m sure u must have found out ways to deal with it ... thanks for sharing :)
Ravali, so true .. I did have lots of short dreams which told me a lil bit of what was coming on my way..good or bad .. I wish it was more clear ...
Thanks for sharing guys , cheers !!!
@Unspoken unwritten: I haven't. . . I tried sleeping pills, but when my parents caught me, they told me to stop.
So now, I'm still trying to find ways to stop the dreams. They come at peculiar times. If you know anything, don't hesitate to inform me. Any information would be of tremendous help. Thanks
Sometimes I think dreams do have meanings sometimes they reflect how your feeling and other time they are just messed up.
I had a dream once that was one of my stories, I woke up w/ the urge to write. Another time (more recently) I had a dream a co-worker threw away all the Christmas cookies and at the time work was really stressed because at work I was overloaded because of Christmas cookies. Most of the time, my dreams are just weird and messed up and funny to recall.
Phamiel , Don't do sleeping tablets .. if I ever find something that might be useful for you I am definitely gonna let you know.. Take care :)
Patricia, you must have been thrilled with that story, share the story so we can read..many times great writers and artists get their creation via dreams.. strange i but true.. hope you are at ease with ur work now :)
Gah! That story has to be rewritten if I want to share it! My first attempts at writing are like most others, full of errors! lol. (I'm not working at that bakery any more =( my bf and I had to move so I'm jobless)
It sounds like everyone is just joking around here, I was hoping to see real stories.
I have had for as long as I can remember, very phophetic (is that the word?) dreams. I have learned somehow over the years, how to sort through and understand what to pay attention to. I dream every night and have come to even enjoy it. But for many years when I was younger it would frighten me greatly. Nothing is a coincidence when you dream something that happens soon after.
Lauren, I guess they are all sharing their real stories. You are lucky enough to have such dreams , I wish I had them too, to keep me guided. Is there a specific one you remember ?? I had a book called Dream Interpretations for a long time but havent been able to finish .. I even joined a dream sharing club but havent participted lately ...Plz share one :)
there is hardly any connection between reality & dreams, but as men we are meaning making machines, so we keep driving meanings out of it :)
Different perspective Priyanika , also dreams showcase what exactly is in our subconscious mind .. it does help us know our mindset :)
i believe that dreams have meanings but there are some that just giving you vision.
one day i dreamed of one glass of water that i would like to drink. but i couldn't drink it because i notice that were rust or dirt in it. when i woke up, we don't have water in our faucet,
That must have been funny hah.. but I really find these little moments so exciting, thanks for sharing :)
Its nice to think that dreams have meanings but in reality, I highly doubt so. Scientist are still trying to understand sleep. It'll be awhile before we get a reason for dreams.
I wish they do it fast , but again science theories keep changing too . As of now , sleep is important and dreams are exciting :)
Yup, I hope they do as well. Although the theories change, it doesn't sound as bogus as the answers through unscientific means.
I read a book once. I can't remember the title but it was about dreams. It also shared on how you could take control while dreaming. I actually tried it out and with some practice it worked. However, it was tough because, once you realized you were dreaming, you tend to snap out of it and wake up.
Yes, I recently read about half glass water technique which allows you to control your dream, weird though !!!
I don't think my dreams have any meaning whatsoever. For the past 2 weeks I've been dreaming my ex and I got back together. We haven't talked in 2 years so I'm guessing that's not going to happen.
I've also dreamed a dinosaur was chasing my family around the house trying to eat us (a couple of times)
AND just the other day I dream I was swimming in an ocean full of sharks and almost got bitten.
None of this has ever happened to me, but I guess in a way they've always been fears of mine.
Omg Butter , you have to share if it really happens..
SOmetimes the dreams have subtle meanings and each object represents some meaning. I vaguely remember my dreams but the dreams that have really scared me are the ones where I am left all alone in a totally unknown place.
Thank you for sharing Butter :) :)
Intriguing question!
Well, I've always thought I had very silly and rather ridiculous dreams... Nothing as exciting as being chased by a dinosaur or bitten by a shark, for instance!
hehehe.
But then, I started having the impression that the situations in my dreams were often happening to me, mostly through those deja-vu feelings one normally has.
That made me pay a bit more attention to my dreams and I even got into the annoying habit of trying to find out what comes next, whenever my deja-vus happen.
Weird, I know!
;D
Ronny u read my mind, I was about to talk about deja-vu too, thats a whole new experience again . I guess almost everyone of us have experienced it somehow .
Haha trust me, its not annoying at all , neither weird.. its interesting :) :)
Why, thank you!
It's nice to know I am not the only one to experience such feelings... or worse, just a weirdo!
lol.
Reading minds sure can come in handy, though. That's what I'll zero in on. Starting now!
;D
Haha so u r gonna be Phd in reading mind, if u will be able to do the perfectly, u will rock :P :P
Maybe some dreams do have meanings. Earlier, I was reading a friend's blog with so much interpretations of dreams.
I did have some real experiences of dreams that came true. But sad ones.
Hmmnn I am speechless here.. it might have prepared you to face th situation though .. I still have this book called "Dream Interpretation" by Sigmund Freud, never finished reading it though !!!
Dreams come true, for more information about dreams interpretation visit: www.bestmac-dreamsinterpretation.blogspot.com. I will be waiting to see ur comments and feed back.
Sure Victor, I m gonna check that blog now and will give you my feedbacks ...
I've had dreams that came true - weird stuff, nothing major or catastrophic. When I have a vivid dream that is sort of off-kilter and I tell someone about it, it seems like it comes true, even if it's months later.
I wish I could understand dreams more properly, sometimes I feellike its another life we r living .. sometimes a prcasination and what not ...
It appears that our dreams have meanings because everything can be linked to any other thing. we try find menaing even when the dream hardly implies anything. It is human tendancy and it is from such things that God fathers and other similar people arise.

Yea like u implied, we might be trying to decode things that are beyond our head .
dream means "Disconnection between reality of emotions and actions of mental plane"

I remember a dream and a sad real life incident connected to it.
In my dream I see one of my uncle's home. (I had never seen him in a dream before) I see that they are cooking a special meal in their home.
Suddenly I wake up and hear someone is informing my mother about the death of my aunt.
My uncle prepared a meal for whole family.
