Money should be the same..The only differences I have seen is you tend to get approved for AdSense a lot sooner if your domain is a .com or .net.

doamin name dose not matter,, only quality of stuff matter.. both for SEO as well as Adsense..

yes you can earn money while on blogspot.Also you can move to a custom domain like .com while your blog will still be on blogger.
