Does internet dating mark the end for romance

Isn't dating, a physical act of taking a partner out for tea or dinner or a walk in the park or movies etc.
INTERNET DATING sound an odd terminology. Internet "yakking" or "writing" or :chatting" or "spyke-ing" or "flirting" sounds all good. All these are the beginnings of romance.... be it across or within borders. We had letters blooming to be love letters.
Now in the elctronic world, of course anxiety time is as good as nil between correspondences. Internet would not mark the end of romance.

Internet dating, is just a beginning of "getting to know each other process", i've been involved for net dating for two years, but it won't work out, it still better have date physically together, expressing each others emotionally, and sometimes honestly, races and cultures differences affects to have successful relationship.

Thiruselvam, that is my point. Dating is suppose to be a physical act. but some folk for a veriety of reason prefer to avoid the physical part of it and find solace in finding partners online. Ritzel, i think it easier to get to know each other when you can physically see expressions, gestures, sound of the voice, smiles and laughters. Anamika, it will help if you can explain more. i believe in a real romantic relationship the two people should be able to meet and express their feelings more.
internet dating cannot be romantic.

....I think the problem with online meet up is the fact that u can't see the TRUST beyond that wall.....You don't even know who the person is in REAL ... unless u meet or talk them or know the person in reality for weeks or months
... But i have heard few successful stories but its rare ..

Nah Internet dating can never take away the real romance of meeting a person face to face.
Internet dating is as bland as a very extremely bored person chatting and arguing with Cleverbot.

I dunno for me i think internet dating can and cant work at least theres a chance that you will meet a person who will really like you for the way you are 8)
as i know two friends of mine they meet through a forum and chatted and then dated for years and now just married ^_^ ... its just magical

One and only one time. Very bad experience when we actually met. A whole lot of time and energy wasted. Now if someone does not want to meet right away, forget it. They are hiding something. Well, I mean if I was still looking.
