The blog feeds is ranked higher than my blog's actual posts. Here are on the latest:
keyword: Brazilian 'dead' man - on the first page but its a bake.co.ke blog feed.
keyword: Richard Murdock on Abortion - on the first page but still bake.co.ke blog feed.
Other posts give error 404: all posts with videos on Google
keyword: Julia Gillard rant - on the 1st page but the list gives error 404.
and many more.
Need assistance before am de-ranked again.
i dont see a 404 error on the juilia guilard article on seeclouds. And on bake.co.ke, your blog is either loading really slow or not loading on me. Might be a hosting problem.
and http://bake.or.ke/ has better PR than seeclouds so that might be the reason why it's ranking higher than the original post. And the feed content is an exact copy of your post, not an excerpt so if content wise it's the same, i think google would rank the one with higher PR. So that might be it.
See cloud article is better formatted and has pics though. But I still dont understand why a blog directory would publish an exact copy of your posts
Thanks malds. I have just redirected Julia Gillard link that's why it is working now(Forgot i changed the permalink).
As for the feed, it is not supposed to be so. The second ranked after bake.co.ke feed is bloggers.com feed. Google understands feeds are not supposed to be read by Google searchers but becoz the articles had quality contents its confused. I know something went wrong somewhere
yeah, it might be a temporary thing then. It's happened to me for some of my newer posts. Sometimes the directory links rank higher. But they eventually switch up so maybe give it a couple of days to a week and see what happes.
