TWITTER gives me a lot of privacy because I have my own room for personal tweets where only privileged people can see.

Thank you very much for all the confusion. I have none but Bloggers.com. What a choice to play around with. Facebook, Twitter, myspace; Bloggers.com. Ther must be others as well.
Where is the time to be in all and how is one to decide the best unless tried and tasted to conclude ....... and then wake up one fine morning to find something else has come in and raging with fury.

I like Facebook. I enjoy the social connection with friends, groups, and fan pages. Some of the comments are both educational and entertaining.

I stopped using myspace when everyone had moved onto facebook, in the end it felt pointless keeping it.
I used to really like facebook but now frankly i hate it, especially since it is now people do just Rely on it for Everything. i HATE people who post really personally stuff on there, for example a girl will write on a boy's wall about how he slept with someone else etc... also i hate how some people will not keep in touch with you unless you have a facebook...and i hate if you meet a friend of a friend once at (for example) a party and the next day they add you, you accept out of politeness and they are suddenly commenting on or liking Everything on your page like they are your new best friend. I also hate how naive i was when i first got it and had all my personal info up there, i've removed most of it but i'm sure it will still be on the facebook master computer. Also farmville and all the application things are just so annoying.
On the other hand i'm a Twitter whore. its simple and uncomplicated, no personal info on display and i use it for (A) posting up videos, music, very short film reviews, random facts or funny observations and (B) for news: i follow my favourite bands, BBC entertainment news, Total Film, Pitchfork Media and some entertaining blogs to keep up with recent reviews, new films, new music releases, up and coming tours etc.
However, Last.fm is by far the best profile/networking site.

I personally like Twitter. It is better for blog promotion. I find that people don't really care what you share on FB and they will not interact and engage with you on FB. The key is finding like minded people who will engage with you on FB. I get more interaction and engagement on Twitter. My experience! I say Twitter, because you have privacy and you're sharing information that someone will find useful.

i have Myspace before, but it's dead not, twitter is okey i kindah post everything i like in there and it's easy to connect to your sites, twitter applications is kindah east to install.... (i dont stay there though)
Facebook... Nope since it's not allowed here though i have one which i open like once a week... "and i really keep it to just my circle of friends" What i hate about FB is that people are using it as a diary... guess thats the use of blog!

I do prefer facebook ....

Twitter is the best. I hate facebook, people rely on it too much and live their lives through it.
For example a month or so ago i said happy birthday to a colleague of mine at work and gave her a hug, but the next day she was genuinely upset with me because i didn't write happy birthday on her facebook wall, despite the fact i said it to her in person on her birthday!! surely that should be more than good enough!
I also hate how people announce the intimate details of their private lives all over it without thinking, its just scary.

Twitter is great for getting up-to-date music, film, art and news updates/articles/blogs/reviews/recommendations/announcements/etc
and myspace was good back in the day but everyone i know who had an account has either deleted or stopped using it. plus these days the layout is just a fuckin nightmare.

I like Facebook, because I can talk to my friends who live far away. Twitter is nice if you care to know what's happening every two seconds of the day. My Space was good, but nobody uses it as much anymore.

I definitely love Facebook and Twitter. I never actually use Myspace even though I had one. I used to use Friendster 'cause most of my friends have one, but then Facebook came along. At first I don't really like Facebook 'cause I can't change the layout or the look of my profile, but I changed my mind after I realized it is the ultimate social network of all. It's great for stalking people too! Hee hee. Twitter and Facebook are also the best places to promote blog ;) So, yay for Facebook and Twitter!! :D

MySpace hasn't been a player in years...Twitter lost most of it's usefulness ever since they got rid of the ' all ' tab and made it so that only your friends could see your tweets. And that's the main drawback to Facebook as well.
Unless you have 10's of thousands of followers none of them are very helpful to driving traffic to your site.
