This goal is to produce a beautifully simplistic miniatures war game ruleset in book form, with enough depth so as not to become mundane. The rules are completely based on a six sided dice system. I think alot of problems with many miniature wargames is that they are far to complicated for the casual player. Along with the normal skirmish rules, I have also developed a set of "campaign" rules for a risk-like, map domination version of the game.

If this project is successful it will fund the creation of the core rulebook as well as the production of rewards to my funders. It will also be used a a stepping stone to fund future projects, such as the campaign map for the game, a well as the first line of miniatures.

The back story, the races, the factions and the characters in the game setting are based on folklore of the british isles. There are 6 factions in the game. Each sports a number of different races. The Unified Fae (Faery's, Elves, Brownies, Sylphs), The Marshland Pact (goblins,hobgoblins, trolls ,darrigs,boggins), Dwarven Alliance (iron dwarfs,surface dwarfs, tash dwarfs), Drakin Kinship (Dragonaughts, Pteronins, Lyglins,Gornaks), Firbolg Revival (Firbolg,Gnomes, Lannan-Shee, Humans, Merrow), The Underhorde (Fomori, Sliag).
Unified Fae: A coalition of four Fae races that seek to assimilate the world of Dowin under their rule (with force if need be) to better establish peace between the ever waring inhabitants.
Marshland Pact: Seeing the wars grow ever closer to their borders, the green-fae races of the marshlands have set aside their differences to protect their swamps from the lurking dangers of the outside world.
Dwarven Alliance: Always stubborn, the Dwarfs have refused to join forces with their Faery and Elven brethren, choosing instead to fortify their mountain fortresses and arm their men against any who dare step across their threshhold.
Drakin Kinship: This was faction was formed by pure survival. They were created thousands of years ago by an evil Firbolg Sorcerer who merged the the bodies of fae and dragons together to make a terrible army. They are now oucasted and killed on sight by all other factions.
Firbolg Revival: Humans were thought to be extinct after the great war, but a few have come from hiding to seek out their racial cousins(Merrow, Lannan-Shee, and Gnomes) and set about bring the Firbolg, from whom they are all descended, back to their previous height of power.
UnderHorde: During the great war, Surt, the great creator, saw his children kill each other in the name of power. Digusted by this, he created the sliag, reanimated dead of the great war, and the Fomori, demons of unbelievable evil to scour the land and purge it of the destructive races of Fae, Dragons, and Firbolg, so that he may start anew.
