My blog is varied between fashion, beauty & lifestyle. I post about the general goings on, what I've been buying and my nail art. But I'm finding it's all very samey samey, and need some new ideas. So if anyone has any ideas for fun, interesting posts that will bring in more hits and followers, please help! The problem with fashion is there are so many others who do it. The problem with nails is that you've got only so many designs you can put out which are original and exclusive. I cover fashion now and then on my blog (viktoriamichaelis.com) as well as many other things so that my visitors (I have page views of over 700 a day) always have something different to look at, to read.

Try a few new ideas, things that relate to you in everyday life that other people will not have come across, things which influence you, upset or excite. Post at least three times a week, and keep on posting three times a week so that you can claim a regular readership. Link up to other sites - Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, Yahoo, Pinterest, Tumblr, SITS - and visit and comment on other blogs and fashion / fashion news sites with your link.

It takes time and patience, though.

ideas for fun, interesting posts that will bring in more hits/followers...posts that are fashion/beauty/lifestyle related...TOUGH QUESTION! :)

but here are three ideas:
1. do a tag
2. post a tutorial
3. post a favorites/outfit video

Hey, I am a beauty blogger.

Usually I post reviews on products I've been using, old favourites and new ones. Its always good to add your own photos and your own honest opinions. I get ideas from lots of other blogs and also youtube. You can do tutorials or just blog about how you create certain looks using photos.

Why don't you do a 'whats on my face?' post and do a before and after of you bare faced then with your daily makeup on and list what you use and why you like it etc. There is SOOO much you can write about!
