Fed up with low paying ads in Adsense

Suresh Khanal on Adsense, Low Paying Ads, Blogging, Monetization, Ads, Google

Adsense is no doubt a wonderful monetization for passive income. Recently I'm troubled a lot with these low paying ads. Is there any method that I can find which ads are low paying and block them from appearing in my sites?

There used to be adsblacklist.com but these days but its not working for more than 3 months. Is there any other service on net?

Imaginat ∙ 5 Apr, 12

I f you have low paying adds get more traffic. :D

Suresh Khanal ∙ 5 Apr, 12

@Imaginat, how would it work by increasing traffic when pay per click is 1 cent?

@Jeffrey, there is a filter box in Adsense to block the Ads. But first we need the list of Ads being displayed in our site which are low paying, isn't it?

that I do is put one ad unit only, by placing an ad unit will provoke a high value, too many units or ad slot is too much to make the value of each click is low ... you can try at least a week and compare it with your income today

My problem is that visitors would watch the video clips on my blog, but never click on the ads

Just make a blog containing high paying keywords..just google the high paying keyword..use it for your blog niche

Thank you friends for you suggestion. I'm reducing the number of Ad units at first to see how hit results.

i think the problem may be your blog content (KEYWORDS)

on my blog a single click brings me 15 to 20 cents many times it's 79 cents...

but the traffic is too less..:(
so try to play with content keywords

@ Nishita, you are quite correct with those top paying adsense keywords.

I am averaging about 100 euros monthly from adsense started the blog about a year ago. Check out my profile and adsense tips

Wow...! very useful discussion is going on here...! It's really nice to read this discussion about low paying ads in AdSense...!

Suresh Khanal ∙ 3 May, 12

Thank you @Nishida, I agree! My problem is that I'm not making websites for Adsense but trying to add up revenue on my existing websites and blogs. I can't start writing abotu home equity loans when I am working on Computer Jobs Exam preparation.

Anyway, I've found that reducing the number of Ad units can remove lowest paying ads off from the site. I'm testing on this fact now.

"My problem is that I'm not making websites for Adsense "

Same here. None of my sites are geared toward income. Income was a second thought ' after ' the site/s were already made.

To make any kind of decent money you need to follow the trends, and involve yourself in very topic-oriented theme-oriented sites. Which is great for making money...but boring as ell'.

TIP: If you ( not you Suresh , but anyone ) want to make money...

1. pick a hot popular topic
2. build a good looking site
3. make ' all ' your content about that one sole topic ( be very niche-minded ...for instance don't make a site about ' cars ' narrow it down to a particular brand of cars, or even down further to a particular car ..the more precise the better )
4. update regularly, several times a day

TheTAZZone ∙ 3 May, 12

Generally speaking a site should be about a hot popular topic...be very topic oriented...and never deviate from that topic...and the more specific the better

Bad: a site about transportation
Fair: a site about cars
Good: a site about American made cars
Very Good: a site about cars made by Chrysler Motors
Great: a site about a particular car like the Dodge Viper or the Dodge Dart or the Dodge Charger, etc...

"4. update regularly, several times a day "

This , of course, should be implied to mean ' quality ' articles and images, original ( not stolen ) content

Sukrut ∙ 3 May, 12

you need to work on Content (or we can say Keywords)...

i think suggestions related to this thing is already discussed earlier...

Suresh Khanal ∙ 26 weeks ago

Thank you @theTazzone for that wonderful tips on earning more from Adsense.

@Sukrut, Unfortunately my niche is not high paying one. I'm working on educational niche. When creating I had no mind to monetize, and now suffering from low paying ads :(
