Not following forefathers means change the religion; the culture; the traditions and customs and so on. There are what you follow, and there are that we reject with time change, or make changes.
"TOO COWARD TO BRING THE CHANGE"!!
CHANGE is difficult. Fear of the unknown, fear of rejection; fear of ridicule; fear of being scolded and so on, do put a stop.
You must recognise the heroic attitudes of the young, and appreciate the entire changes. Get back to your business and start thinking.
Are you not surprised at by so many changes around us. A healthy must have bben sleeping a long time.

It doesn't specifically applies to religion. It is a general rule applies to evolution.
Forefathers may or may not be right.
It is our need and responsibilty to think beyond borders,understand and follow the truth.
Invention comes only with thinking forward not backward.
Solutions become reality only when you work in different way.

I guess it's more convincing if you go for DEVELOPMENT and not just CHANGE.
Not all things can be changed..Inventions go for development. You can never have a solution if you won't consider the facts before it.
The crave for development of our forefathers are somehow the same as how we crave for it..the only difference is how the world appears in our eyes now and how they seen it before, such that we never stop developing. Part of human nature, restlessness.
What we enjoy much now may bore our grandchildren tomorrow.
