I see quite often that some people follow an impossible amount of blogs. I love to read, I also love to write. I also know there are only so many hours in a day...unless I invent a day! Why do YOU follow blogs, what is the criteria you look for?
anything from a poem to a story (life event) as long as it is written from the heart ...
i find it interesting reading friends' blogs, but mainly people who have a positive outlook on life to inspire me, and are witty/humorous.
I'll read anything. If it's interesting, I'll keep coming back. I do try to click on every blog I follow at least once a day though.
I'm really into crafting blogs and beauty mostly because they are a big help for me in making costumes and other random stuff in the house XD
I do follow the occasional food and story blogs too if they attract me ^^

I mostly follow people in the movie blogging biz but if somebody's style catches my eye, or their blog is informative it doesn't matter what they're writing. I also follow a few SEO/blog building blogs because their knowledge is so valuable.
Simple. I follow blogs that I'm interested in, and it's a variety of different niches.
I look for posts that get straight to the point and have something to say regardless of the topic. I now have learned to stay away from certain blogs that are covered in ads, have excessive ads all over the place, music I can turn off - takes up my bandwith etc etc - blogs like this just takes up too much of my time navigating when I could be reading something else.
I enjoy a wide variety of all sorts of things, but in the end, I look specifically for things that are written with passion, that I find easy to read, and grabs me quickly. Its all about the content, and I don't really care about the subject matter, as long as I'm interested in it, and its interestingly written.
A lot of people follow blogs for the sake of getting followed back.
I like blogs that are similar to my own such as illustrative, web comics, cartoons, doodles.
I do like other, some personal, a couple of beauty and some technology. Basically, my interests. I wont like every single blog I come across though. It is just pointless.
