Friendship can mean many things, but my definition of it is two people who are nice to each other, and consider themselves friends because they spend a lot of time together. Love is something else. Some people never experience true love. Love is kind of like color. If you have been blind your whole life, you could never describe it, and those who can see know exactly what it is, but they can't describe it either. I will attempt to describe love, because I have experienced true love. It is a euphoric feeling you get when you are with a certain person. It is different from lust, because the euphoria is not triggered by endorphins in your body like lust. The euphoria of love comes from freedom of fear. You feel euphoric when you are with the person you love because you know that if you could die with him/her, you could die in ecstasy. Not sexual ecstasy, a different kind. The kind small children always feel for their mothers. That is why love is so hard. Sometimes we can't die with the person we want.
