Well I didn't experience slow load times when I visited your page: have you got it fixed? If not, here is a tip or two for cutting down loading times with web pages:

1) In your page layout, use an import tag to load all the body css from a stylesheet. use . Be careful when tampering with the css as it can make the layout tab in your dashboard look strange.

2) Import any images you use into your google + account and upload them to your blog from there.
