Why does my blog get no comments or subscribers? Is the content not good? Am I aiming at too small an audience?

Just be patient..and don't ever give up. :P
I think your blog is unique. :P
I've just had a quick look at your latest post, and you've got 6 comments already. I didn't see anything wrong with your post (content was good) but also didn't feel to comment as you gave me information about your dog, which was ok. There was nothing for me to add at that point, especially as I don't own a dog at present. Hope this helps.
That's the most comments i've ever had on a post in 4 years. Thanks for the reply.
hohoho... i think it's amazing blog, u can explore your hobby and that's what makes this blog so unique and interesting.
I think your blog is cool. Very much informative for dog-lovers and the cute cute cute dogie pictures are all an attraction for them. I love your header too. The contents are good, and you are getting 8 comments on your latest post (as of now), that's a good hit. I have never ever had 8 comments, but I'm thankful for the little feedback I receive. Thank you

Yea, its not easy being a blogger. Partially because there is so much noise out there. There are way too many bloggers out there also so it makes competition tough.
It depends on the market also. My market is typically older so the don't pay attention to blogs unless I email them and ask for a comment.
Capturing peoples email by offering a ebook with free tips for something is the best way these days.
went over to your blog. We've been blogging about the same length of time. I like your blog, content looks good. How much time per week do you spend visiting and commenting on other blog sites? I have spent both a considerable amount of time (more than 100 comments per day) and very little time (one or two comments a day). That does not include the one hour - 10 hours a day I have spent on Twitter and Facebook. I have averaged from 12 visits to 900 visits a day. Guess which day I was doing the most visits to other sites? I get about 7 comments for each 10 I make. If you want feedback, you need to go the mile and do the same. Best with your blog. I will try to remember to visit you!
