I'm new to the site and i have two problems
1) it told me to verify blog ownership and i added one of the badges, but it keeps telling me that i still need to verify it.

2) how do i add a thumbnail to my blog?

help!!!!

hi!
is your blog already verified?
anyway you can try this:
1/ choose from the blogges badges below
2/ in your blog lay-out, add a gadget, add "html/java"
3/ when that gadget pops out, copy the code of the badge you have chosen earlier and paste it on the html box.
4/ save your changes.

Sometimes, it takes a day or two for the system to verify your blog, so have longer patience.
After 2 days and your blog remained unverified, send a report to bloggers admin under "Help" (lower part of this page)
