How best to get this party started ....?

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to promote my blog, and help me succeed in my mission of winning a bet with a friend of mine.

I am trying to sell off advertising space on my website, which instead of just a small ad, your actual website is displayed ... http://thebignumbersearch.com/

The top 4 google searches for "the big number search" are also to do with my site ...

Each spot is numbered 1 to 1 million and can be searched for on my site via its number, Or found by pressing random ...

My blog is documenting the progress, as well as providing a place to show some funny videos and written conversations I've had with friends ...

I started in a few weeks ago and have sold a decent amount of slots, as well as given some away for free on here ...

Now, I am wondering what's the best way to get more views and a bigger following?

If anyone can spare a couple of minutes to take a look at my blog;

I'll be honest, Dave. I visited your blog and left you a comment the other day to try to help get you started, but I really don't get it. Maybe I'm not the audience, but "the big number search"? Maybe you can give us an idea of what you are doing there, and what kind of stuff you plan to blog about. I know it's early in your blog's life, so you may not know yet, but after having visited a few times, I am just a little confused... Anyway, I look forward to your answer, and good luck!

You won't get up that fast unless you suddenly become infamous. Most famous bloggers too years to build their reputation. you might want to start by attending more relevant event or workshop to get yourself noticed. Be nice to other bloggers as they will bring in traffic to you as well, other then that just enjoy what you do best and the best in you will be shown ;)
