I named my blog katenok, because that is what my grandpa calls me, as a play on my actual name. :)
My other blog is called Big sister parenting to be descriptive - Im a big sister but so big that Im also like a parent.. :P

After writing down a million ideas, and then finding out most of them were taken, I had to get my thinking cap on! I always used to use the saying "Im gonna get dolled up" tonight when going out on a night out, so decided to go with it, and the name sums up what my page is all about! :-)

I couldn't find a thing that would describe my blog in general. So, what I did was to use the terms red couch catharsis, which is basically what writing does for me. the red couch was popular i guess, in free-association techniques. i think. :)

The name of my blog is "My UniQue Girlz".

mines called chichi pompous, I was hoping to come up with something that had a meaning yet at the same time it can stand alone on its own, so I picked two words and thesaurus and looked into latin words etc...
In the end I resulted with ChiChi PomPous that sounds quite nice on its own 8)

Erm I think it was kind of literal for me, first I thought of Sex and the City - fashion related I absolutely adore the show!! I live in a city and my blog is fashion/beauty related, so I then came up with Dressed in the City which basically is what my blog is about ... so thanks Carrie and crew LoL ;)

Mine's a video game blog called "Disk Read Error".
It pretty much came about because my brother and I had already written our first articles but couldn't think of a title, then we got some inspiration from the PS2 suddenly not working and throwing up a big grey screen that said those words. So the name stuck.

i named my blog where the light is (wherethelightis.org). it originates from the john mayer song, "gravity", and is the name of his live tour DVD. john mayer is my favorite artist but for me the phrase connotes positivity; to want to be kept where the light is, is to always be in the know and never left in the dark. lightness always overcomes darkness, like love always overcomes hatred. :)

Hi Katerina. Well, I thought about the title to "fit" according to the subject of my blog. "Peri Alos" (Περί Αλός) means in ancient greek language "All about the sea". So I post articles and studies about Naval History, Geopolitics, and Underwater Research!

Great question! My personal style blog is called Not Dressed As Lamb:
I started the blog initially as a one year project in the run up to my 40th birthday, so I scribbled down dozens of "fashion over 40" names but they were either taken or just didn't sound very good. I was toying with the expression "mutton dressed as lamb" and decided that that's what I definitely DIDN'T want to be, so the mutton got changed to Not. I liked it straight away and the name stuck!
Plus I continued it after my 40th, the one year project grew into something much bigger...!

I wanted an original, not too explicit title, since I write about dreams, and I wanted to show creativity and raise curiosity about it. I didn't want to try too hard on the title, and also wanted for it to be based on what inspired me to write the blog.
