I also just started. I have made close to 435 in only 5 days I know its not much buts a start I posted a screen shot on my blog of my adsense earnings. If anyonehas any ideas I would love to read them.

1. You have to drive traffic to your site by understanding your market. What else are they interested in besides what you have to offer. What compliments products that you sell?
2. Are you using social media? I'm not saying that social media will bring you sales but it sure will bring you traffic. Once they are there then its up to you to convert.
3. What are you doing to remain relevant in your clients eyes? How often do you stay in contact or are they seeing your brand?
4. What offers do you currently have? Does your clients respond better to coupons or free gifts?
5. Lastly CPC works best this time of year! Majority of our sales and traffic generation for the holiday was driven by Google ads.

I have had a similar website earlier for the Indian market. I primarily focused on search engine optimization and luckily succeeded to the extent of getting a couple of thousand visitors a day from Google. But in case you are not the techie guy, you could as well focus on other methods. I recently made an article on 'How to build traffic without Google'. Check it if you like from my profile.
