How important is graphic usage in your blog?

hi, soso ( 2 ). in my opinion, this item is important but not useful for attract visitor surely!
posts and context has a plus point to graphic.
although, have a simple graphic for blog is necessary

In my original website, or mark one version of my wordpress site, it was mainly text. Then when I had it re-designed, my designer added featured images. It was "wow" when I saw this new look. This brought the site to life, made it more "attractive" to the eyes. So, yes, pictures are important. Like cartoon, people do like looking at pictures.

They are not essential but having good graphics makes your blog more appealing to look at and people are more likely to hang around.

I agree with you, my doubt is when we're targeting to post on social network, sometimes the readers are more likely to see images and graphics rather than texts. so I guess it's case by case then, depend on what type of post we'd like to share , right?

At least a 4 out of 5. Problem is I don't do enough searching around for graphics to put up besides my own photography.... I honestly think the blog is suffering because of it, hopefully I can correct my practices and start putting stuff on there.

Yes I agree with you, for a blog-based-images like yours I think that graphics and pictures are more self-explainable than using texts ^^

5. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Including the right images in your posts helps to convey the messages more clearly.

Every one of my articles has a custom made featured image and it seems that is what a lot of people like about my blog. I feel images can be used to draw the users interest while the content can get them to stay.
Images don't only look great, but they are also a wonderful tool.

5. For me, having a featured image for every post makes the whole thing look a lot higher quality than just text everywhere. Plus, I try to toss in a couple pictures in the post body itself, just to break up the monotony.

around 4.. sometimes, people don't "read" blogs, they just scan it and if they find the picture interesting, by then, they will start to "read" your blog. it should get your reader's attention.

5. It attracts the visitors. It is the same way in looking at a person physical appearance, you get attracted first on how it looks like rather than what it contains. lol
