How Much You Care About Writing?

Mayura on Blogging, Articles, Writing, Social, Ideas, Knowledge

Hi Bloggers Fellows,

I would like to take your attention in to a specific topic. It may not related for all, but you can share your knowledge & ideas about it.

What is the objective of your blog? You may write about specific topic throughout your blog. Mostly our blogs and articles not dedicated for one region or country. As our blogs exist on World Wide Web, it exposes and accessible to whole world. So if you wish to cater your blog to anyone out there and when you deals with emotions or gestures, then you may have to mind your writing style or words you gonna use. (I think so)

If you gives 'Thumbs Up' to an American guy, he will understand it as a complement. But if you do same to an Iranian or Australian guy, he will understand it as an insult. So when it comes to writing, do you follow or aware of some kind of writing practices? If you do, I'd like if you can share them with us all.

Let's Share Our Ideas... I Think Many of Creative Writers Have Better Ideas... :)

Cheers...

Yes- when you writing a 'Article' your wording should cover the audience you have or want to reach.

That fact is critical, for example, when you explaining some technology and you use 'terms' or 'code' that probably will be ignored by newbie or non-tetchy people.

I think lots of us writing just to express what we've in mind- and that doesn't really need to cover pin-point details in things like you pointed out- similar minded people will stick with you and the rest will ignore or keep away.

And if you wants to cover the most possible audience, you'll need to learn the tactics, the more you know the more you gain people from around.

The easiest way is always deciding your audience, finding article/writings which is known/popular and following their style. You would gain your own style soon once you put yourself in the writing and try to improve with your liking.

Good idea,
I love writing , so I keep a note book with me always , to write down any idea that comes to my mind, because if I don’t , it will go 4ever..
life is the highest school ever, what we we are to do is register down all our thoughts and experiences to share with others..
Normally , I write a way that I like others to be pleased by, whatever words I don’t like, I’ll keep away from them..because I do to please them & give help..
If you respect people they’ll mostly respect you, that will make it easier to be understood better..

In writing my blog, I have three objectives:

1. To inform (to tell readers something they don't know).
2. To entertain (reading should be enjoyable).
3. To provoke (to challenge readers' existing ideas).

To achieve these aims, I make no compromises, although the balance of the three does vary from post to post. However, I'm not writing to flatter people, so you may well find that you disagree with me. You may even find me annoying, but if you do find me annoying then objective #3 will have been achieved.
