@Amrita....your blog must be atleast six months older before applying for adsense.If you are creating a blog on blogspot platform then your blog must be quality blog and maximum contents of your blog must be original.If you have a custom domain then you can apply for adsense before six months with minumum 30 post.For this you must read the Terms and Conditions of Google Adsense Programm.

I have started my blogging 6 months ago and after setting up some posts and SEO for my blog I submitted my blog after 3 months to google adsense but they rejected. but now today 6 months criteria have been done for Indians and I have arround 80% of traffic from google search engine and have 60% of traffic from US but I could not judge that I could apply again at the present time. If any expert here please visit to my blog and reply with your suggestion.

Remove text ads just place you Adsense ads in the effective places like just below the blog title ( 428 by 60 ad unit), you will get great conversions. In text ads just irritates readers.

Just when I was able to earn my first adsense income, someone hacked my blog and it was labeled an attack site, ruining years of hard work. Though I was able to get it fixed, I have to start all over again. I may be wrong but what say we help each other out on our adsense income? I guess that's one of the reason's why we're all here. i was added my blog to bloggers.com and then 2 months late i want to delete my blog from bloggers and i was deleted my blog and now i wish to add my blog again on bloggers.com i was again add the blog and verify it to put the badge of bloggers.com on my blog... after that they verifying my blog and my blog was gone on waiting status...
and next day i was check my blog on bloggers.com and my blog that i want to add back in bloggers.com i was checked in my manage blogs option then i was suddenly shocked because i didn't found my blog in my blog list and now i am trying to add my blog again on bloggers.com so the error was appearing on blog adding page this is saying that ( Oops This Blog is already added) and i can't found my blog where it was added... i find my blog on every page of my profile...

I am not suggesting that we break the rules but there are a lot of bloggers who are asking the same question. This doesn't mean that we are in it for money alone. That would all the post that we have written to be worthless lies. Still I think one of the reasons why people signed up is to improve their earnings as well as their traffic.

I took your advice and I read the article. According to what I read, it could due to the adsense set up or invalid clicks. According to the article on invalid clicks, it refers to the following:clicks or impressions generated by a publisher clicking on his own ads, a publisher encouraging clicks on his ads, automated clicking tools or traffic sources, robots, or other deceptive software. Given that definition, what if a blogger read an article from a blog that caught his attention. After reading, he saw an ad that he also liked and clicked on it. He browsed it thoroughly for some time before leaving. Would that be an invalid click?

Making money from Google Adsense which is true!
I think for the amount expected to be large from Adsense program should achieve a lot of factors. But in my experience, needs to converge to the following requirements:
1. Web / blog must have more visitors.
2. The contents of the article web / blog to quality.
3. There are high paying keywords.
I also see a lot of very long articles about adsense. But in short just focused on 03 conditions that you will get more money from adsense.
I am currently owns 02 websites and 06 blogs. The total number of monthly visitors: 290,000 visits / month.
- Rate my CTR 1.6 (Number of click / number of visits).
- On average, each in adsense clicks (CPC): 0.50$ - 2.5$.
So the average monthly Adsense will pay me about: 3,000$ - $ 6,500.
Now I just focus on Adsense as their main income source.
These are my sharing may be useful to many people.

To be approved you need a website (Blog or otherwise) and to not get disabled you need to not produce spam on your site. It's rather simple. 8-)

I've actually been thinking about setting up Google Adsense for a while now... but wasn't sure if my blog is good enough or if I will be able to earn a lot. How does it work exactly? I know that whenever someone clicks on an add, you earn a certain amount but are you sent a cheque by mail or do you have to give them your account information? Sandy, you won't have a security issue with Google AdSense. However, you may lose some readership. Now, for it to really works you need a large readership (1,000's every day to really get a nice monthly check.) They pay by check or wire transfer. It will depend on where you are and what you want to accept. The best is to check their info directly. For sure, you can create an account and not use it so that would be safe anyway.

Google Adsense is an excellent method of earning an income on the internet. Google earn $Billions in advertizing revenue which they will share with you. It is a serious business for them and they will protect it from fraud whatever way they can. Every keystroke you make is being watched.
Any traffic to your site other than searches is a risk to them - the risk is that any traffic you generate by lists, comments or any other means has the potential to fraudulently click on google adds as Google see it.
Do you think that large successful businesses that generate $1000;s in adsense income are sitting at their terminals desperately trying to get some traffic to their site. No, well then they are not a risk to Google but if you have a clapped out blog thats not intended for business then you will be a risk and eventually get slapped.
Your blog is your pride and joy. Have a look at it tomorrow and imagine blank spaces where all of your google adsense adds were. Now if you have 100 pages it will look like 100 pages of swiss cheese and you will have a lot of repair work to do.
If you are going to use adsense your site or blog has to stand up as SEO perfect. ie is you dont need anything to link to or promote your site, no comments links or tricks just perfect optimization. No third party access ever.
If you do it right you can make more than just an income. Do it wrong once and you wont have a chance to do it again.
To close I would not use adsense on blogspot even if they paid me triple. All it takes to make your site look like swiss cheese is for someone to maliciously hit the "report button" and your done. Check your blog in the morning - yep swiss cheese.
It is commercial law all over the world for any business or entity to have recourse if their business is harmed or suffers loss because of detremental action by a third party. That law does not apply to Google

Sadly not more than 80$ a month on my two sites, but I´m on the move at the right direction.
One very local site for Sweden, kantarellrecept.se that is my biggest income.
The other one is buildablogg.com, it´s a international market, much harder and more things to think of if you want to suceed, have some tips on that site and something that I always forget, photos, sign up to a photo agency, lots of links to that type to.
A stream will get to a river or something... (10$ a month for pictures, have "only" 60 photos)

one thing I have learned, to get google adsense in your blog is the biggest problem. 2. once you get be very careful, don't even use your data card to surf and click on the advt., you will get kicked out.
3. earning is damn too slow, they(google) have too many caculations to pay you.
I am not sure whether you get paid by page views or clicking on the add ? I'm still confused thoroughly.

First of all, if you really want to earn from your blog, you have to totally forget about making money (from your blog) for a small period of time. Ask any successful blogger and he will tell you that work like a workaholic for minimum six months without thinking about making even a cent. Work on building traffic and money will come eventually.
Secondly, to all those who are using blogspot domain, try buying your own custom domain and switch your blogger account to your custom domain. For example, make it "xyz.com" instead of "xyz.blogspot.com". It doesn't cost you much, you'll get your own domain for about $10 per year (yeah, per year). Note that I'm asking about getting a domain, not a hosting service.
Thirdly, sign up for alternate ad-networks too because google is in a habit of banning your account for no reason (can quote many examples here).
I was once reading a case study on Digg, they used adsense when the site was new. Guess how much they were making approximately per month? $200,000 per month (yes TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND US DOLLARS PER MONTH). So I guess you'll understand that its all about traffic.
And by the way, never ever click on your own ads, NEVER EVER. It'll be stupidity at its extreme if you lose your adsense account for some cents.

I started blogging not quite long so am still in the learning process and i have discovered alot about how to monetize a blog. There are 5 simple methods you can apply . Google adsense, affiliate marketing, Mailing lists, database selling and donations.
But i think if you really wants to make money with google adsense, then consider also joining their adword programm too. That´s the safe method. REMEMBER: Don´t ever try to click or ask anyone (online or offline) to bomb click otherwise you get banned as quickly as possible.ok!

You might not even need ad clicking if you have high traffic on your website. Your traffic and page loads will help your ad impression which will in turn generate some ad income for you. I have a blog with over 8k daily page loads with no ad click and the income is pretty cool!

Google adsense is an advertisement program from google. You need to apply for it and wait for google to approve your request. They will put related advertisement on your site, and you will be paid for it. Google reject my application for both my blog. Bleh.

I once made 352$ in three days, but this was due to a absurd surge in traffic thanks to a well placed craigslist ad. During these 3 days I was getting 12,000 visitors a day on average, so my CTR wasn't even that good. In fact, the highest CTR i have ever gotten was 2%. I think people who say they get 20% ctr are either lying through their teeth or have a layout where it is impossible not to click an add (i.e CNET and the impossible task of finding the REAL download now button).
Now I'm back to the occasional pocket change. I saw what big traffic meant to profit and I can't lie, it was a great feeling, but it was a fluke I have yet to be able to reproduce.

Started having a partnership with Youtube 1 1/2 month ago, prompting me to monetize my videos. Wasn't expecting much but somehow in that half a month i earned $30 in which i did not put any effort whatsoever (i only had like 7k views altogether that time too.). Then last month I just kept making Gameplay videos and i got at least $200 making at least $5-8 a day. After 10 days in this month i've been earning $11-18. Hopefully i can make it to $500 at the end of this month... Fingers Crossed >.

Also i would like to say to all the people who partnered with youtube and is trying to make money of adsense, all you have to do is keep on trying and trying and you will see the results. I was lazy ass at first because i didnt expect to make money AT ALL, but somehow did and everything just went uphill afterwards. Perseverance is the key to Adsense.
