Let me ask you a question: Why you join Bloggers community?

Bottom line of most of your answers is you need traffic on your blog. We feel inspired to see our Blog getting more and more traffic and that lead us continue our journey as a Blogger.

How to get traffic, there lots of way around for this but how to get "quality traffic" has limited way around. Social community for Bloggers can send you quality traffic to your Blog.

Some of you might disappointed at some point that it not really working for you, at least as you hoped. Why it's failed for you?

Lets point out few things - that way Bloggers can support each other and your hope for the traffic fulfilled.

# Your Visibility

Make sure you have a better avatar/display picture for your account. Sign into your account regular basis. We have busy schedule but make room for Bloggers friends based on your time.

# Make Friend

Find people who have similar interest you have. Vote for them, let them know you're alike. Try to post a "review" for their Blog. Start to follow them.

Your journey began now. You've friends, you found Blogs you like. If you stops here- you missed the aspect of supporting your fellow bloggers and therefore you missing their support for you.

# Comment on Blog

Do comment on blog post, as your time permit, regular basis. Tell them you're with them, your like/dislike regarding their new posts.

# Vote and comment on Bloggers

Why this is important? This will improve both your and your friend's visibility on Bloggers. More people will notice and join with you.

# Tweet and Stumble

If you do not have twitter account you should create one. If you have Stumbleupon account, that's a plus. And if you have Facebook- that's great.

Promote Blog post of your friends by posting tweet, re-tweet. After comment on their blog you can tweet that link too. Those helps your friends to get more traffic and readers. And your support will lead them keep a good relation with you by doing same for you.

You making a group of friends who support each other. This way every blog of your group gets multiple promoter and gets quality attention from the Social sphere.

It doesn't matter if Blogging your hobby or you trying to making money off from it. Your social network will lead reasons to keep it going. Tons of friends around the world will make you feel proud. And your fun time will make sure more and more traffic to your Blog.

Thanks Chris. It's possible to earn money off from the blogging. You need to spend good amount of time and energy, it wont make you money all of sudden but eventually you can get there.

Since it's a long procedure and lots of things you need to understand and find out your way around, I suggest you to look at "Blog Directory" here. Try to follow up Blogs about making money and such. Few blogs here covering the subject well, and they are dedicated to tech people the way around.

Nah- delete those spam comments. Having no comment better than spam, nobody likes them including search engines.

May be you could cover celebrity house painting or story about painting that people search often like Picasso. Isn't there so many interesting story about 'em?

Great idea Moon! Thanks for another Tip! :) Will reevaluate my thinking on spam too. Finding Bloggers for me is like Twitter/Facebook/Networked Blogs/Posterious all rolled up into one. Even if I get few comments to my articles, all of our articles here at Bloggers is indexed very nicely on search engines, gaining more muscle in the blogsphere. Having these other accounts for several years now, I truly enjoy this one most of all. :hint: Inviting others from other venues, like giving them a link to a discussion currently going on. We'll see what happens, with my zeal to others~

Most people try to increase their "rank" by voting and following instead they need to understand "engagement" brings more "quality traffic" and eventually lead stable "rank".

How more followers or votes would help a blogger unless they having friendly readers/bloggers who regularly visit 'em and contribute the blogging.

Another fact is, you've to find your related minded blogger- for example Poetry isn't a topic most people may like to read regularly- but here few of us found each other and connecting regular basis.

You may look at your blog- think and try to catch up more fellow bloggers by improving it where it may have weaknesses (content, presentation etc).

no one will tell you how ugly is your blog cause they are not actually jumping at your sites or blog, instead just implying a "great blog, nice post" and other good words but the truth is the commenter doesn't actually read your blog or site

My experiences is- most people not really like to know weaknesses in first hand. Some really do- and most people hardly tell what they "don't like" of your blog or post.

May be there should have some balance- and it comes from people once they get used to with blogging and such.

I had a talks regarding what people wants from a comment here on Bloggers.

Despite all of it- I think best approach is to appreciate what you get and work on increasing our own concept by visiting and communicating more people who doing great on the blogsphere.

Write well and OFTEN. Use lots of photos, preferably your own. Find blogs you like and comment on them frequently and THOUGHTFULLY. Randomly writing things like "hey good content like your blog" and leaving your URL won't result in your blog acquiring any real traffic or readership. That's why I dislike all the threads on here that are designed to do just that. It's hardly better than spam. In fact my blog commenting is designed to consider useless comments like that spam and won't post them. Repeat visitors are important.

So to summarize, write well, post often, use images, visit other blogs you like, comment thoughtfully, respond to comments on your blog thoughtfully and you will see your traffic and your true reader numbers rise.

These are all great things that will get traffic to your blog, but don't expect to go viral over night. It takes time and true effort. Build relationships via Twitter and read and comment on other blogs. All the social media stuff is a given that everyone should already know anyway.

Connecting with other bloggers in your niche and outside your niche is crucial. When you comment on their blogs, make sure you can actually add "value" to the conversation. The more often you do this, the more people will take notice of your blog.

Blog design also helps too. First impressions....

Not sure what you've asked- isn't there a "Like" option included on even posts here?

You wont find Like button for your own topic- but for the others click on the "Heart" icon with the counts.
