What type of blog do you have? my advice is that you focus on something you're interested in so that you can sustain the work. Then write at least 2 or 3 times a week so that you'll always have fresh content. Search engines like this.

Also when you write a post make sure that you know what keywords are being searched for so that your posts have a chance at gaining organic traffic later on. Read up on how to optimize posts for search engines. Just google it, there are a lot of guides.

Once you have around 10-15 posts, start guest posting for link building (SEO) and traffic. Guest posts are great for target keywords and you'll also get traffic from the readers of the blog you guest posted on.

Make sure all your posts have social share bars and make sure that you share all your posts on twitter, FB, etc...

Then just keep repeating the the 2-3 times a week posts, guest posting, and sharing on social sites.

That should slowly build up your traffic and domain authority.

You can look into other methods of scaling your blog later on but usually this is the setup most people do in the beginning to grow their blog.
