I got a form letter from AdSense telling me that my account had been disabled.

Positive Fountain on Adsense, Blogger, Tips, Information

Hi all, has it happened to you?
I was just supposed to get pay for the last months and now it has been cancelled?

I'm very upset because I didn't do anything and I didn't get a clear explanation.

Q. Why was my account disabled?

A. Because we have a need to protect our proprietary detection system, we're unable to provide our publishers with any information about their account activity, including any web pages, users, or third-party services that might have been involved.

But I didn't do anything.
Does anyone know what to do now?
Will I ever get my money back I made last month?

Your blogs are too targeted towards people searching on Google, than they are about the topics you're writing about. You shouldn't have a whole blog dedicated to Valentine's Day ideas, nor just about Christmas. Those are specifically topics that are only necessary for one article, and that's it.

Google disabled your account because they didn't like your niche blogs. And what I've said above is the reason. You might not think that your blogs are simply search bait, but they are, and in Google's mind (aswell as probably the person who ended up on your site's mind) they are a waste of time. Instead of getting directed to a page where there is actual useful information, they are directed to a page with a few not so easy to read words, a bunch of pictures, and ads.

Google wants to reward people for making useful content, not those who are abusing the system with niche websites that primarily get their exposure from sites such as Bloggers.

And no, you won't get your money. Sorry. :(

Hi Jessica,
I had my Christmas blog since September and I always got money from adsense, every month.
And I started my blog about Valentine in November.
My account was cancelled today and it says:

We have detected invalid activity on your site and your account has been disabled.

The ad serving is disabled. There must be an Issue ID in the mail that you have received. Try completely removing any questionable post on your blog and after 2 days make an appeal using that Issue ID, clearly specify what changes you have done to your blog (like you have deleted 3 or 4 articles) then create the appeal. You blog will be sent for review again. If its all good then you will get your ads running again.

I've never had a an account disabled, but a couple of my friends have. One of the top issues are that people will come on your website and continuously click on your ads. It actually called "Click Bombing"!

I'm not saying this happened to your website, but it can happen.

The good thing is that you can apply again with a different website. Then place more ads on the website you was previously using them on.

Overall, Google is very secretive - when they want to be. So finding out why they really disabled your account will most like be a mystery.

Hope this helped!

Hi Marc,

It says: We have detected invalid activity on your site and your account has been disabled.

What exactly they mean by that?

Thank you,
Dusana

Hi Dusana!

It could have been "Click Bombing" ,but who knows...

But...

I have something for you to read. This from a guy I follow and he has been in the same position you are in right now...Here is his blog post about his issue with Adsense and what he did to fix it.

Article 1:
http://www.nichepursuits.com/i-just-got-banned-from-google-adsense-now-what/#

Article 2:
http://www.nichepursuits.com/how-to-avoid-getting-click-bombed-on-google-adsense/#

Article 3:
http://www.nichepursuits.com/how-to-apply-to-google-adsense-and-actually-get-approved/

Read these carefully and it should give you clarity and help you get started to recovering.

As far as your earning, I'm sorry but they will not release them.

Thank you Marc, I'm gonna have a look now.
But still is horrible, they disabled my account 6 days before my pay day. Plus, I lost all I earned this month as well.

It is not fare, they should be able to stop it somehow or allow to click only once.

I didn't do anything and just because someone might did it, I'm the one who lost everything.

Have a nice evening.

i've seen this happen before. the invalid activity they are referring to is the constant clicking that marc mentioned. when your sites gets ads clicked several times from one IP address over an extended period of time (not just a day or two), google senses that these are false clicks (someone is coming to the site just to click the ads multiple times. google doesn't like this because it takes advantage of advertisers paying to advertise with them), and they disable the account. once they've detected this invalid click activity, they won't reopen your account, pay you the money earned or allow adsense on the website again.

Hi Claire, thank you.

I have to say I'm very disappointed with adsense. But this will not stop me, I am hard working person and I will not give up.

Hi, my site was banned by google adsense too before. and it wa frustating. but i came to know the cause of it.: my family was helping click ads on my site. hahaha after 5 mos, i tried sending a mail to them expalining that my parents was helping me though I didnt know it and after three days my adsense was back.
And now I am trying to learn how to counter these invalid clicks. I know I got a long way to go but hard work pays off...

Google is very strict and secretive, I guess one of the main reasons why your account has been disabled due to the fact that it may have received a lot of clicks which may have been the same IP address.

Anyway there are other money making methods that are of the same quality as Google Adsense, Adhitz, infolinks, kontera, adf.ly and etc

Please visit my site and witness it yourself

Hi Jonteesoy,
Thank you so much. As I said I'm very disappointed with adsense, I don't like at all how they deal with it. Thank you again for your help.

Since you won't be getting the money from ad-sense just out of curiosity how much was your earnings im asking for research only. you do not have to disclose if you dont want to.

So sorry to hear this happened to you Dusana, did you ever get it resolved or get paid? This is exactly why I do not mess with Adsense or any of the others. They can stop paying you whenever they want too. Here is something you may find interesting on my blog http://socialmediabar.com/why-every-blogger-in-the-world-should-be-doing-this
This company is hot right now and they pay us bloggers REALLY well. :)

Hi Charles, thank you for reply. Yes, Adsense is great, but as you said they can stop paying you whenever they want too. I never got a proper explanation. Thank you for the tips, I will check out empower network.
Have a great day!
Dusana :-)
