can u explain what love really is? im just confuse. im 20yrs old, ive had my heart broken. and now, i am starting to fall in love. but i wanna make sure if this is really love. im afraid to get hurt again.

i don't think any1 would ever be able to explain wat love really is we only can give our opinion on wat it is...and we often mistake infatuation with love...but ur the only 1 that will know when ur in love...so don't give up on it when u get the feeling am sure its the most wonderful thing in the world jus be patient...and about the guys that hurt u don't worry a yr frm nw u'll look back and ask urself "wat ws i really thinking"..lol u but remember to be patient...

Hi, love is the feeling of heaven, you fly in the sky, you make yourself very kind and luckly. You unable to start fall in love but you automaticaly fall in love, after sometimes you feel somebody presence in your heart and in your eyes. So Love have so many defiantions but dont have any proper way except eyes.

What is LOVE?. A big question in life and something which cant be understood so easily. But I tried to define it. Let see whether I am correct or Wrong. So I think tht…….:P:P

They would be anyone .May be a boy and girl, bros and sis, Parents and their kids, between friends etc.., But the most difficult category which has to be define is : Love between a Boy and a Girl .There is always a question between this Relationship .So I try to giv some meaning to it .Let this thought help atleast meeee to find out what is love??......contd

Love happens from both the sides .It means from the likes of both Boy and Girl .It cant be from one side .If it happens from one side, then it become just a want of that one sided who involves in love .And I think there is no such thing like WANT in Love .Love doesnt mean giving or takin it jus mean DOING N DOING by taking care of ur LOVE n BY SHOWIN HOW MUCH SPECIAL THEY'RE FOR U. Just a last thing I wanna say that don’t lose friendship of the person whom u love, coz friendship stands for LOVE only .So more or less we’re getting the love .thing is that it not like as we expect .Thatsy I always say that don’t EXPECT, jus ACCEPT whatever comes ur way, coz EXPECTATION may hurt but ACCEPTANCE always encourage u for a second try.

Love is a type of feeling like anger, happy, sad etc. We can not get all the feelings at one time. We got love feeling at late. None can stand out from those feelings. So, first you analyse the person, if he is so you like and want. And then take a decision as your inner conscious say. But don't give a chance to anyone to hurt you, physically or mentally. There are so many types of love- but true love affects us differently. When I met the man of my dreams I literally felt like throwing up. He wasn't grosse or anything. That is just the way my system reacted. And then, as our relationship progressed, I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him and nothing else mattered. And you only know about whether there is pain after a while - NOT IN THE BEGINNING! - very important point, even though most people say they love someone too early, when they are just starting - NO! I remember i opened this topic almost 3months ago, but im still recieving responses which i deeply appreciate. Although what i've felt for the guy on this topic i am referring to, well, it didn't work for us. I still learned from it, at least now it would be much clearer for me to determine whether what i am feeling is love or just admiration, or maybe because at that time i felt unlove and found it to the guy who was there at that time. I was wrong, i admit, and then another heart broken moment for me. But my heart tends to heal well. Any scars i have just made my heart stronger...I'd be ok, i know in time...And besides, God is always with me / us. :)

My dear, Love is in one's heart.. It is always there just like the air that is always present, surrounding us... To love is to be vulnerable because you know you are facing what seemed 'scary' in your mind.. Yet, love does not consist of pain.. Someone wise once told me this, 'If you feel pain or scare in or for love, then it is a sign which your heart is trying to show you that you have not truly let go of yourself - to love enough. So until you love enough, all pain and affliction exist.'
Whatever it is, just let your heart takes you for that is where love is leading you.. :)

I feel love is all about giving special importance to some one in our life. If we see why we fall in love then we get to know that if we get some more value or importance from someone which we never have felt from someone else we just fall in love with that person.
We give all our attention, priority to that person and if that person leave us we feel lonely and less of importance of ourself.. and again when we get some one with same prospects we get attached to them.. and cycle goes on and on..

Love is the deepest, most complicated and the most intimate emotion that we all have inside of us. That's right. We all have love inside of us. Love is a part of our souls. We all want it and we all want to give it. Love, whether we are giving it or getting it, SHOULD always make us happy and feel good. Love can be shown in many, many ways. Some people can give and receive love freely and some struggle with it. Those that can give it freely not only receive it back 10 fold, but they are the people whom are at grips with themselves and life around them. It all has to do with loving and accepting yourself first. Once you have truly accomplished this major step in life, love will come natural. I find that by giving of one's self to others, even if it's just to get a smile out of them, or maybe it could be just to help them across a slippery path, is showing love. Stroking your cat or saying hello to a stranger is a form of love. Starting your wife's car on a cold morning or packing your husband and children lunches is also a form of love. It makes us happy and it feels good. Love is all around us. It takes on many forms. The more you understand about how love works, the more you can give it and get it back. People should really go back to following the golden rules. Remember...treat others as you want to be treated. The theory of "the Golden Rule" with a few exceptions,and sometimes forgiveness and acceptance of others, really does work. Perseverance and never giving up on love is all part of having a happy, fulfilling and good life. Love, in whatever form it takes, makes the world go around and is definitely worth the effort.

To be in love, one has to feel it unconditionally towards another human being who's capable of loving back.
Love has only one meaning human beings executes it in different forms, shapes, weights and degrees. That even people who are in love cannot fathom their actuation towards it.

For me...Love is a journey towards God. All love must be rooted to God. Loving something (i.e. music, etc) or someone (i.e. neighbor, boy/girl friend) are just secondary. My point is you love something or someone because you love God first. Loving w/o God is very exhausting. We are created because of God's love and according to scriptures (Genesis chapter 1) we are created in His own image likeness. Since we are created bec. of God's love and created us in His own image and likeness, therefore we are endowed the ability to love.
God loves us immensely and the only thing we can give back to God is to love him...and then everything follows.

That's why we fall out of love and fall in love again and again.

I know what love ISN'T. Its not a "feeling" its a "decision". Of course when two people first they get all the endorphin rush, and physical attraction. However that goes away, and their needs to be a friendship to fall back on so when temptation steps in (and it will) you wont be interested because `1) you KNOW true love is a choice and 2) you have a friendship to fall back on with the person your in a relationship with.

Love is a action word yet it has a very powerful feeling... Love is not selective and it is not to be taken to be an opposite of what can be called love inside the human mind. For it does exist without it. You will go through trials in your existence here and during some of those trials you will encounter light which is the direct line to love inside you. Realize the light and love are one of the same. As you uncover powerful places inside you that you can share with another you will share something more profound, this with someone who can emit the same vibrational frequency that you have without any reasons the mind can make some vibrations will be much stronger than others. This is a shared space of confined energy.. It will resonate deep within you that allows you to be in the present moment with each other. It will not require you to have the mind in place when you are there. It just becomes love.. This shared energy expands as you allow it to yet what happens commonly is the mind has to protect you which usually keeps it from ever becoming something more than a role playing in a relationship. Reach to expand beyond that and you will not need to seek what it is.. for in knowing you will embrace exactly what it is and all the things outside you become love to you..
