I need ideas on good but inexpensive items to offer?

Maybe see if some brands/companies aren't willing to do collaborated giveaways with you? I've given away hair extensions and cosmetics hampers recently, my blog is very very new but these companies contacted me after posts done about their products.

Oh ok. I had seen that suggested online, but I was worried that my blog may be too low traffic for sponsors. I only get like 5000 pageviews a month.
My mozrank and page authority are ok (3 and 33)
All of my pages are indexed with google, but unfortunately, my pagerank is currently still at 0 for the time being. So I also figured that may be a turn off for sponsors.

Has anyone been in contact with you to maybe do reviews or something because those are contacts you can use? Otherwise you'll have to just bite the bullet and buy prizes yourself?

No one had contacted me. I figured I would have to get the items myself. Thats why I'm trying to figure out what to give away (something that would appeal to everyone) yet inexpensive

Sometimes when you buy products, there is a buy one get one free sale. Why not give away the free product? and it won't cost you anything.
Sometimes your family/friends buy goods that they never use or want, ask if they can give it to you instead, so someone can get a free product (as long as it is as new and not used in any way). Christmas is here, so maybe you should ask people early to give their unwanted items to you.
Contact companies and ask if they have any spare items in stock and you'd do a write-up mentioning their name, and how the product worked for you

Few examples Giveaways that costs nothing u can try can be: Coupons, offer to showcase a blog, tweet or spread someone's blog on ur social network site, offer to write a article for them with a link back, ............ For contests, u can offer cash directly $25 to $100 or more if u can.........Or even giftcards or digitall products or Tishirts/Caps that has ur blog name printed....
You can create a facebook page, bring in fans and run the contest..
just some tips though i never tried it...
