I'm going to England in a week...anything you would want me to blog about there??

I've been looking forward to my England adventure for years. And it has finally arrived. I won't have internet access while I'm there but ill be documenting (pictures, notes) every day and things that grab my attention. But before I go... is there anything that interests people that I could look into while I'm there.

I'll be in London a few days and the rest of the week and a half traveling to the Dover cliffs, Brighton, Bath, Cotswolds, Wales for half a day, Oxford, Warwick, York, and so many other places!

So, let me know and I'll keep it in mind on my trip. And if it's a really good idea i'll do a whole post on it when i get back. Which will be June 26

Hi Mud Puddle,

I'm from Yorkshire - so I'm glad you'll be in York! It's a beautiful city steeped in history!

Anyway - it's the food I miss most of all, so make sure you try out the staple British meal - and I'm not talking about Fish and Chips (although you MUST do this as well!) - I'm talking about curry!

It's what I miss most of all about not living in the UK:)

I'm also curious about the build up in London for the 2012 Olympics - it's a shame you aren't going in July/Aug :)

Yes I'm especially excited for York! I'll have to try out the curry for sure, thanks for the suggestion! I'll see what I can find out about all the preparations and planning for the Olympics. That will definitely be a huge interest for me as well.

Although it would be amazing experience to be in England for the Olympics, I'm very happy to miss all the crowds!!!!

I'd say stay away from actual restaurants (except curry houses) and eat in Pubs instead!

'Pub grub' is the best - most affordable and really British!

If you can sneak on PIPPA MIDDLETON about where she shops for clothes, that would be beneficial! And also if you can detect the store where KATE MIDDLETON buys her magnificent brooches or pins.
