Is HTTP error 500 fixable?

Filmansantiago on HTTP Error, Error, Server Error

One of my blogs, http://etc.soundsfunny.ws/ has been down for almost three days now because of this error:

HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

I have sent a report to my server and got no reply yet. Do you think my blog is still there? Because it would be crazy if its not...

Thanks for your answers...

Have you resolved the matter? Has your hosting company called you back?

"HTTP Error 500" simply means that your page (if that is dynamic) failed to render by the server software for example PHP, or Web server (Apache for example). It could be some settings problem on your hosts/your website backend.

Look for any changes you made recently. If you didn't, it might be out of Memory allocated to your account. Or, might be a file permission issue.

Your blog/data shouldn't effected for this but they failed to show/generate your pages.

I got that Moonomo and thanks for that. Anyway, it is back now after that call I made. But lots of plugins are deactivated. :( Have to install those again.
