ur a college graduate with an associate degree u went on numerous job interviews and u still can't get a job every1 seems to be moving up in live but its like ur just stuck at 1 level so is it healthy to think bout suicide?

I say no! I lost my step uncle cause of that in oct.18.2002. Why does this all ways come up around this time? If everyone started to commit suicide just cause things went bad there be no freedom in the world because every one who ever fought for freedom would of been dead because they lost there friend been shoot or lost a leg which would cause them to think this way. So I say no dont ever think that way. If you lost someone like that you would feel the same way. I cant find a job so Im going in the navy and Im aways under pressure but I say no I wont give up. NO Hell NO. Hell plus o equal hello... So some day you be able to say "Ive walk thought hell and back' You could do it.

I'm not sure if u believe in a Higher Power, but for me, something other than self has kept me, and I believe it to be God. Try having two beatiful boys, no job,returning college student with 15 credits, going through a divorce, a recovering gambler, and stuck with fibroids. Life is hard for most, but it's do able. Come out that self pity party, and think of the good things life has granted you. I'm sure theres other counting on you to be around and possibly successful in do time. I thank god for my trials, and will still dealing, I'm getting stronger.

Robert, your reply on this topic is short but says a lot yes they are born unemployed but they are born with an immediate job i do believe like eating learning loving all that has to do with the shaping of a well rounded mind and hopefully a full future with that in mind i am a 40 yr. old man that feels the same but not over unemployment but how life is beating me down and down i can get a sense of were others feel like that is the only way out it has passed threw my mind several times i am at a place in life were i am dead in my heart i wonder if i can ever get back the simple feeling of love again just love for myself and others pretty simple i would like to think but in the big picture without love in the heart what is the sense life one might ask that is were i am at with this

have u thought of those people that they dont even have food in their plate? that they dont have nothing to eat in a day?

your problem is nothing compared to their problems. come on! think positive.
there are lots of people who have much worse problem than u have.
so why commit suicide? if they can survive their problem, why cant u?
just try harder, maybe ur just not prepared yet. do some researches on how to pass an interview. prepare some answers for those questions they commonly ask during an interview.
there are lots of jobs out there, u just have to find the job that fits u.

I say No!NO!! siucide is not a solution to unemployment..i am faced with a simlilar situation in a country where everyone seem to be desperate to make a living through every possible means. i have not given up and i therefore chose to deploy my passion at creating a job for myself.I know i would do better at this than if i had gone for a paid employment somewhere.all you need do is be patient,find what tyour passions are and begin to depoly them at solving problems and soon you will be out of joblessness..

just remember that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem... later on down the road there might be the biggest and best job for you... you just have to weather the storm a little while longer...we cant see wat the future holds and that sometimes makes it difficult to go on... but you've got to be opptimistic and just keep looking, keep searching... giving up is the ultimate failure and like Beanizer said "Suicide is a complete failure"

When suicide becomes a social obligation, i say go for it, i believe it was called altruistc suicide...a form of suicide that occurs to which stress the indiv's responsibility to society. Unemployment is a burden on society, therefore, one must alleviate this burden.

if u think about ending u're life, maybe will end in this world no trouble at all.. but when u dead are you thinking about the other side world after dead, are u already had enough faith to cross the heaven, or hell... the choice is yours.. my advised, have faith.. and pray to god, coz god is inside your heart, trust me god can hear u, if you have faith on it...

Suicide is never a solution to any problem. If others do not have any job for you, then find a job for yourself. Become self employed and provide jobs to others. Very simple, take one small step first and then leap forward whenever you find the opportunity.

i am at a place that is of a sense of having a dead heart i lost everything and that includes what i once had in my heart which today is 100 percent gone and i feel at the very best lost in life and lost with myself can someone tell me how that happens when all i want in this world is to be loved and to love another i am at my wits end on what to do or say or just about any of the above on this i am a 40 yr. old male and i am at a place in life where for the first time i am lost, and i do not know what to do or were to go i am days from being homeless and i understand the topic of this blog very much to as i am at that point but for other reasons not unemployment all i want is to feel a need of self worth and be needed and just maybe there might be someone out there that truly cares for me for me because i am so lost in my own heart on were to go in life and what to do i pray and pray that god finds me and saves one sole that i know is worth saving for i am unsure if i can save myself

Suicide is never an option. Wouldn't that be something if one took their life to only have missed that phone call by five minutes that was going to rock their world? Life is unpredictable. If one's life is so predictable that they can't see a tomorrow...they can make that change happen...don't wait on fate or death. They can take a lessor job,they never know where it may lead them, or start going to church..out of curosity if nothing else...join a gym where they will meet new people...but don't thinking suicide...or they are going to miss something great!

it's not only you who's experiencing that problem so as half of the people in the world. it's just a phase every country go through but it will bounce back. i don't know how old you are but back in the early 90's we experienced the same thing in California...also in the 40's as i watched the history channel...you took the initiative to improve yourself by earning an associate. that tells me that you're a structured person and have goals in life. job is scarse at the moment due to our economic crisis. we will get over this humps eventually. i suggest do some voluntary works for now to non-profit organization like homeless shelters (they are always in need of volunteers. the people mostly in there altho' not all don't stand a chance...whereas, you have an education to back you up. see the difference?

if you can not get a job after graduation,,i believe you should go for post graduation..and mean while keep looking for job...

As others have already said, suicide is never an answer to anything. You have to remember that no matter how much experience or what kind of degree you have, jobs are just difficult to find right now.
Use this opportunity to create more opportunities. Transform what you consider bad into something beneficial. Maybe consider taking more classes. If money is an issue, you can always get a lower paid job while you still continue to search for the job you initially want.
Set your goals in sight, use support from other people, persevere and keep trying. It may be tough now, but once you accomplish what you want, it will be even more special to you.

NO. Suicide is the last thing you should be thinking about after all the time you put in to make yourself a better person, not to mention the money it cost. You have invested in yourself because you are worth it and now the road to employment is here and it is what you have been waiting for, so hold your head up and go down that road, the only difference is that it is longer than you thought...so what. You are not the only one in the boat. I took workshops on resume and cover letters, along with the Labour Market Information and Hidden Job Market, you will feel more confident if you emerse yourself in these things. I still am looking after about 5 weeks now...yes I am discouraged to, had a rough day today but tomorrow will be better and closer to the job I want. Hope for the best only, think positive.

if u have attended 100 interviews and still not get a job, then u have experienced 100 ways or 100 mistakes u hav done in interviews. if u concentrate on those mistakes then definitely hundred n first interview (101) will b a success. who knows u might land at better position than the people who hav moved up in life. suicidal tendencies are due to lack of courage and it is against humanitarian. Human beings hav the ability to conquer the world , not any other species have this ability to do so... think ones again...!!

I understand how ou feel, but you cant stop unitll you know you have givin it everything you got! never give up, start doing mock interviews, do an internship or volunteer work for expirence, god has a plan for you, somtimes things seem to be the worst befor they get better! but i promise it will get better! remember my 4 year old tells me we never give up mommy, right? no we never give up

At this point in time, when we are experiencing economic crisis, even if we were able to obtain a college degree in the most prestigous school we shouldn't choose a job which will fit the course we finished. A lot of opportunities are scattered here, sometimes we are just closed minded and we only think of what we want and not what we need. During this days what we want is not important, what's important is what we need, how we will be able to survive in our daily needs. Suicide is not the solution to our problems. For one reason, GOD created us and gave us life and only He can took it away from us. Also, there's a lot of things that we can do for us to improve our ways of living, but committing suicide is not one of them!

NO, actually suicide is not a solution at all. problems are jst a part of life and in most of the cases created by our hopes. We hope somthing n if it is not fulfilled then it become our problem. Every problem have solution. Some problem are totally irrelevent. I am pursuing MBA, in 4th sem,placement pressure is jst above my head all the time, m always busy in searching job everywhere. But I simply know one thing I am educated,having knowledge, always ready to learn new things,willing to do work and always missing my family. so I cant even think of it(suicide) because I want to prove myself in front of whole world, I want to show my face to the whole world not my back..

Suicide is not the answer. Until you get a job, you can work on strategic methods to get a job. You may not get the job you want but something is better than nothing. You may even have to work a day here and day there. First impressions are very important. Our facial expressions and body language does a lot of talking and we are not even aware of it. I have to check my facial expressions all the time. Working on checking your facial expressions and training your body and face to say what you want it to say. Actors do this all this all the time before an audition. Also wearing the right colors can assist you in setting the scene for what you want to accomplish. Nothing is full proof but there is always room for improvement. Going to school is a job as well and we as a community should always be constantly seeking knowledge and information from other sources as well as each other. As I hear the kids say "hit me up".

If you have family, ask them the same question. Or think about finding someone you care about that may be experiencing tough times hanging from their ceiling. Suicide isn't an answer, it's another problem.

Every problem have 101 solution only we need to concentration and focus what is best possible way. i think if you have bechular degree then very possible you have some good unique skills in yourself you need to search them and polish them . drop your C.V in relevant companies and focus on your Personality Development........ hope you enjoy it
