So far mine have been sponsored. Most of them are giveaways someone else is hosting and I just join in and let people enter through my blog.
I haven't done any on my own expense just yet but not opposed to it.

Hi! My giveaway is not sponsored. I just have a lot of shoes and my boyfriend asked me to throw a few pairs away, because we live in a tini tiny appartement. I could not get myself doing that, so I created a giveaway. You can still join if you like at www.jadepillar.com! Have a great day! JP

Hi Tayme! My blog is not sponsored. I am running my Blog on my own expense from last 1 year. Recently I have joined a publisher account but as I have very low traffic so could not get anything yet. Have a look on www.howtowords.com

I've done sponsored giveaways in the past as well as paying out of my own pocket for giveaways : )
From now on, I plan to NOT do sponsored unless it's really really worth it, because working with demanding companies gives me a headache sometimes =_='

I haven't done any giveaways, but I really want to. If I ever get (what I think is) enough followers, I will and it will be at my expense. I think it would be fun to go shopping and buy some of my favorite things to give away. Hopefully the winner will enjoy them as much as I do. At the same time, I don't want my blog to become a giveaway fest with a bunch of followers who are only looking for a chance at some free stuff.

you have a point there,,, thanks! But for other bloggers, its a strategy to gain more followers... especially for those who market their blog,... that's really a big help...

Mine have been sponsored, but I'll only do on products I'd want myself. I've given away cosmetics, hair extensions (any of your choice) and will also now be doing a pair of sunglasses. I like giving away, it's a nice way to say thanks. I'll also be doing my own this year from items bought myself. PS ~ I'm VERY new to blogging, started my blog 28 Sept 2012 and have had these sponsorships already, but I do interact a lot with my readers, I don't really know how companies find you but it is possible to get sponsored giveaways if you have a new blog.
