Looking for advice about my blog

Hi everyone! Just discovered this great place yesterday.
I hope I'm in the right place to ask for some honest advice for my blog and that I'm not doing anything wrong asking this here, as I'm new I'm still adjusting to the rules of this site ;)

I started my blog at the end of June but updated regularly from August :) (so 2 months active blogging now).

So I'm looking for honest opinions to know what could be better or what you think I'm doing good so far :D. It would really help me make a better blog!

Well I'm no expert, especially on the area that you're blogging in, but I do like the style of the blog. You've got a certain look nailed down - elegant, simple and clean.

I would perhaps make the banner/title more appealing or bigger. Perhaps centre it?

I think you're doing a lot of things right judging by the amount of followers and comments you get for such a new blog!

I like the simplicity of the site and its layout, i simply love your blog. If i hadn't posted how to create a blog people will love to read http://shar.es/5pM5G after i saw this post i would've been thinking maybe you read that post b4 designing your blog. You followed the correct rules...and i bet people will love your blog.

It is a very cute blog, however try not to post the entire content on the front page. For example your first post has about 10 or so images on the front page. That is usually bad taste.

How do you mean? That I should have a "click to read further" button after each post?
Because I have far more posts than my front page, those are always the 5 most recent posts :)

I'm not an expert when it comes to blogging but to be honest, I find your blog interesting. You take great pictures and your layout is clean and simple maybe the thing that bothered me are the font especially the font of the post title and lastly, the posts per page, there are a lot of posts on a single page which leads to slow loading of the entire page, try limiting it by 1 or 2 per page? But overall, I'll give it 5/5 stars!!! :D

Thank you for your opinion :) I'll lower down the number of posts per page or maybe apply a "read further" button to prevent slow loading time
The top font should be a special one but I have noticed it might not appear on all pc's

Your blog is excellent. You will land on bloggers.com front page soon :-) On blog archive and request for a follow, which one ranks first? If it was only Facebook, would have been better. I guess you should prioritize entertaining visitors with more posts, then later on request them to follow :-)

I want to revive this thread as I recently applied some changes to my blog layout, slightly bigger photo's, you have to click to read further and I changed the social media buttons under my posts

What do you all think? :)

I love the look for your blog! It's very simple and clean and easy to navigate.

I don't have a lot of critique for you. I like your style and your fashion photography. Your writing style is also a lot of fun to read. I like it when people write in a way that I feel like I'm having a conversation with them. Makes me more inclined to read. Oh! And I love your fonts that you use for titles and headers.

The only thing that I usually like to see is a way to sort through your posts. When I'm going through a blog, if I find a certain post that I like, I love being able to click on the post tags and see more like it. Keeps me on a blog longer too. Say...your fashion posts, travel posts, exhibitions & press days, random thoughts, etc. I don't know. That's just me :)

But keep it up! You have a beautiful blog!

I kind of agree with Audrey, it looks great it just needs sections (fashion, travel etc) linked to the tags maybe in the form of tabs which could also fill the slightly big gap in between the header and the top post. I've sent you an email of a basic image of what I mean

You are missing a Blogroll or a Link page....that is important for every blog.

I like the simple design, and even though I'm fan of black of white I think you should consider adding some light clolur to your design as at the moment nothing really stands out when I look at the page.....

Please note it is only my opinion, I'm not a professional in this matter.

I really like the simple layout, and text font it goes well with what you are writing about and since you have quite a bit of colour popping up from your photos the type of layout is perfect!

My only idea is maybe on your Archistas header add a little simple sketch image (doesn't have to be massive) that descibes you a it 8)

I have checked your blog, and it's really simple and beautiful . But the font is really small which is hard to read "for me" . And also if you put some colors would be more amazing

Add some colors like apple green and pale blue, it will reinvigorate your blog in the snap of a finger.You have a minimalist style and i love it.Its simple to navigate, let it be like this.Try a pastel colour and use it as the background of your text.thats all.It will do just good, and add some colours to you ,Black and white girl. Chillax.

Looks very good, but remember to take advantage of the title and description. Nobody would search Archista and find your blog. maybe have something in the title and description who tells google and all other viewers what the blog is about.

Thanks for the advice, everytime I add a description it comes up underneath my header and I dislike the looks of it. I'll definitely see if I'm able to change that in the future :)
