Losing innocence: blessing or curse?

AnaLuiza

Sometimes I feel that even thou we lose innocence there's always a little left.
It is a blessing or a curse?

Friend Analuiza....infact innocence is a basic & TRUE feature of our innermost identity & it can never vanish but is in complete proportion always. The evil tendencies just make a cover on it & the extent of covering varies from person to person ....!

In my thoughts , I can only refer to what my bible says and when Adam and Eve lost their innocence, it took an act of God to return one back. My opinion is it is a curse, until someone can make me see differently. ask any woman that gave up her innocence while not being married and see if there were no repercussion's from the act.

For me, you either are innocent or not, you either lose it or not, you can't lose it and still have it left. It is a blessing to some and a curse to others.

I agree with RPD. Sometimes its necessary for people to loose innocence. So you call it a blessing because they get to grow more in life.
Sometimes it is important to have it intact, so that you don't loose yourself.
When you loose it at the wrong time, its a curse.

Gaining or loosing innocence.....?....I believe it should be seeming to gain or loose....otherwise how it can reappear after it has been lost completely ....effect follows a cause....blessing or curse?....Well,blessing when u seem to gain it & curse in the opposite case for the peace of mind. For intellect, innocence is only a tool to analyze situations but for the soul it is an inseparable feature ....!

Gday Ana

Losing ones innocence at three to losing ones innocence at eighteen is quite different, at three its a definite course & even at eighteen it can still be a course depending on the circumstances.

Innocence is naivety of ones environment which can be a blessing or not as it really depends on the circumstances for example if I knew how I was going to die & when is that a course or not? Again it depends on the circumstances of how horrific or pleasing my death is going to be so if it was going to be tomorrow that I was going to die horrifically then I want to stay naive of this.

Love
Mathew
