Just my personal opinion based on my experience mind you ...
Unless your blog is selling a product over which you have direct control then you are going to be selling other people's stuff for a small slice of the pie. If you were lucky enough to be selling something of someone else's that was really hot, ... but then everyone would very soon be your competitor. That slice of pie is so small that you're going to have to have in the neighborhood of 1000+ visitors per day to start getting any meaningful money, probably 5 to 10 times that much.
That said, it wouldn't hurt one to begin monetizing before you get that many hits, since there's really a lot to learn about the various ways, ad placement, kinds of ads, etc., etc. Just don't expect big bucks and expect to put in a lot of time bringing in eyeballs.
I've tried to sign up in adsense, but they sentd a message saying it has been disaproved because of insufficient content. Shall i be able to do it once i have more content? What do you know about this? Thanks =) Please send me a private message
I started monetization from day one actually. Not because I want to make fast big bucks, but mainly to experiment with the various type of monetization channels such as affiliate marketing and advertisement.
Just to see what is suitable with the design and feels of my blog.
Currently i'm sticking with Amazon & ProBlogger Affiliates, Infolink & NRelate Advertisement. My blog is 4 months old and I just made my first USD 0.80 cents via Amazon..yay!
thats good to hear because I wanna start monetizing now. And youre just lucky they accept your submition. Werent they require high PR before they accept applications?
