Do you think there are more Female Bloggers than Males on the Internet? I feel like it is. If anyone can get the latest 2012 stats on anything about how many bloggers there are and what niche is currently popular, I would really appreciate it thanks.
I agree with your thought, Abdul, although I haven't seen any figures to support that. Certainly here on bloggers.com there seems to be a preponderance of female bloggers.
Also when Pinterest started I believe the ratio was 90% female and 10% male. Since then I think it has come more balanced.
It's interesting that during the last few days I've been seeing online discussions on making things more gender-neutral. That certainly seems to have certain advantages. In other words concentrating on what we have in common rather than how we might differ. :)
Yes, no stats to report but even if you just look at the amount of fashion type blogs out there, mummy blogs, parenting blogs, baby blogs then I guess females dominate :)
The internet is clogged with fashion blogs so that alone would suggest to me that there are more female bloggers.
Meme blogs seem to be quite popular at the moment. People just reposting funny pictures they have seen on Memebase and 9gag.
Females know how to make money and men, well , what can I say ?................tell em ladies !
I think it depends on the type of topic. I'm in fashion blogging and there is DEFINITELY more women than men. However in tech blogging, males dominate the category. We can exchange follows if you like! Here's my blog:

It would be interesting to see which sex blogs more. On one hand, with all the fashion & mom blogs, I would guess women. However, I feel men are just as present. There are no lack of entertainment, travel, sports, and auto hobby blogs written by men.
