Congrats! There is a lot of competition out there, so that ranking is solid! Mine is currently 275,287 worldwide, and 53,497 in US and I have been running it since July of this year.
I was able to hit this ranking quickly because I have an email list of about 1k subscribers from marketing my squeeze page. That's a lot of traffic plus I commented on at least 10 blogs per day for the first 2 months.
I also posted in forums a lot with my blog in the signature and am just finally getting some search traffic coming in.

everyday my rank increased by 100k, maybe in the evening it will rank 1M bellow
before this year end my target is alexa rank 300, 00 and below.
You can definitely do it! Of course, just be consistent and promote your content in relevant areas online :)
