Why would using styling product make me fake? Does clothes make you fake since you're not "all natural"? Wouldn't using shampoo be fake too? I'm washing away my body's natural oils from my hair. It's just a styling thing meant for outer appearance. I've been growing my hair for over a year. When I'm work, I can't have it flowing around and getting in my face so I use a styling creme to keep it in place. I don't really consider myself fake for it. If it's part of your look, who you are, and it makes you feel good, who cares?
It's been over a year and half now I've long hair- stylish or not that doesn't changed my habit. Any day I may go for short hair again that's just depends on mood and changes makes me feel good time to time.
Good points to u both,Ahem...Bruno i would consider shampooing your hair as part of hygiene and not necessarily styling it's only when u use it as a styling gel that ur look changes...@Moonomo i like it when you say it does not change who u r,bt how do u think others perceive u? (with each look)
Funny is having short hair attend by more eyes. Apart from joke- having long or short- it effects people indeed- that's depends on those people but I'm always me. ;)
Impression comes and goes- even with your origin people may take you fake. Who cares?
