I started in June of 2012 so my blog just made it past the 6 month mark. I love the outlet, I love the way it's evolved and changed, but most of all I adore the connections I've been making. Can't believe this whole world was out there and I didn't know.

Some candid thoughts on your blog EmilyVee! I find NYC to be one of my favorite cities that I frequent a few times a year. I always imagined living in NYC as a glamorous experience. Of course, I've never lived there, so what the hell do I know? Great stuff!
Refreshing that someone would not just judge me for being harsh on NYC. Visiting and living somewhere, so different!!! This girl once posted on my blog that I complained too much about NYC (it is called onebigmistakeandsome: NYC so not sure what she was expecting) and then - after a lot of thought and drinks - I managed to write her a nice reply asking her for advice to make me like NYC more. She had visited NYC twice! Needless to say she had nothing else to say! I really appreciate your comment!
I started mine in May 2012. I think it's exceeded my expectations. I even made the front page on this site a month or so ago. I was so shaky and uncertain at first and now my posts just flow.
