Nosy Neighbours : how do you handle them?

Ugochi on Nosy Neighbours, Experience, Tips

Resting at home and still angry because your neighbor would either call your phone or knock at your door anytime.
In the office working and startled because your neighbor is eaves dropping or walking in , just to know what you are doing at a particular time.
Neighbors that wants to know your friends and visitors as if they are your parents.
Tell us how you can handle such issues and if you have experienced such things, feel free to tell us and how you handled it.......thanks

Is that not rude?

That's why I always keep my sniper rifle with me....*boom* headshot!

Heehee in all seriousness I am not sure...I guess I will have to confront the person and ask him to back off politely if they cross the line....such people really need to mind their own business.

wow, Nikki.......Will you shoot your neighbour that is just looking out for you? what if you approach and sh tells you that you are not keeping the right friends and tries to counsel you as usual?

Haha relax I was just kidding! I do not really carry a sniper gun!!! :P

I mean advising is completely different from being nosy.....that's why I mentioned I would confront them if they crossed the line!

And I hardly doubt they would be friendly if all they want to do is make your life a misery by butting into every single you ever do without giving any good advice but be there just to taunt you on your downfall...now that is being called nosy!!

To a limit there is a tolerance but if it gets over the top then they really need to stop! :)

We are not neighborly. We'd probably tell them to eff off. I'm like that anyway.

Ugochi ∙ 38 weeks ago

That is so rude, does that mean you don't tolerate people?

Jamie ∙ 38 weeks ago

I don't think anyone has a right to butt in business that isn't their own. Not even family. I guess because I recognize privacy I have very little patience for people who wish to invade mine. Friends, who are the only ones who know you well enough to be nosy, generally know what your boundaries are and respect them. If someone cannot respect my privacy I fail to see why I should even attempt at being polite, or act like their interference is welcomed.
