I would say both. Blogging is the outcome of my reading. I’m a book reader, mostly novel pocket books. I like to blog to share what I read. Who knows someone might get interested in my thoughts. ; )
Hi there, how are. Work kept me away. Now trying to update blogs; post replies and attempting to be up to date. Tweeter drew my attention away...brainstorming
( @kthiruselvam )
Good to know that you read and share.. write blogs.
I guess 50-50...Half of my time I wanna spend on other bloggers so I can indulge in their thoughts and ideas. And I can share my insights with them as well. The rest of my time I focus on my write-ups and I try the best I can to come up with quality work so that my readers will not despair or will not be disppointed.
As a reader, I am an active participant. As a writer, I'm more recluse and distant because it's my own world and I'm letting others peek into it.
Very well explaining. I love to read well thought out and written blog posts, either peoples thoughts or a review. I do love to write though, so I think I am the same 50/50

This is Johannah Masons new comment:
Read Books, or Write Blogs:
I personally think blogging is better, because it informs in other ways a book cannot.Blogging,Singing, and Dancing seem to be my fav things. This is the order.
Singing,1,Blogging,2,Dancing,3, those are my theoretical options.
This has been Johannah Mason.......Blogger
I think it's split. I love reading blogs as much as I like writing my posts. I think to have any "success" (I don't mean monetary, but as far as developing even a handful of regular readers) this has to be the case. Blogging is give and take. That's what I like about it.
BLOGGING is sharing thoughts, ideas, views and opinions. Expression. Communication. Just reading alone is not enough and writing page after page is also not ideal. Blogs must have comments and expressions. Let the blogger know your impressions for improvement. Do not just read others and write yours. Exchange and blogging becomes a beautiful platform from which one can grow bigger.
i do like having a flick around to see if theres anything interesting to read. But i really love writing my blogs, usually i don't write for ages and then i'll write an essay in 20 minute frenzy and get lost in it, its therapeutic.
i love reading but for one author only - its danielle steel, i have my blogs previously but its not continous....now i have to love blogging if i can learn how to =)
I love reading blogs, most of the time i argue with the writer but then realize what if she/he's right and I am wrong...
writing is when i have something to write... now i write a little more compared before!
I think I prefer writing...but I'm an avid blog reader and a really good blog will bring me back again and again. I'm a fan of several blogs, most of which are very unlike the blogs I write.
I enjoy reading blogs more then I do writing. Just because I love learning from other people's lives. Also I get my best inspiration for my blog from reading other people's blogs. But I do love writing and reading people's comments.
I enjoy writing blogs because it provides an emotional release for me. Very similar to journaling, but blogging allows me to put my thoughts in a logical order, so that others can read them and appreciate or debate them. Which in turn allows me to think about things from a multitude of different ways.
I enjoy reading blogs because it allows me to gather so much information about so many things I never even knew where out there. It also provides a great resource for all the random things I never knew I needed to know. Just the other day I was wondering about how good a product was and in searching, I found a blog that broke down every single possible aspect of the product and gave me so much useful information I never even knew was out there.
I just love the connection that blogging brings from all perspectives.
Hey dude
its really an hypothetical question........
Writing blogs is INTENTION.
Reading blogs is its (cause)SOURCE.
so its a read and write formula if really wanna betterment our writing ability.
I read a lot online but not only blogs. I have two blogs and each one require different approaches.
I like doing my posts and reading some blogs. But I think I should leave more comments.
As a blogger I know how encouraging it is to receive comments.
We should create:
"Comment one of my posts and I comment on one of yours."
I'll create it.
I enjoy reading first and maybe writing when I'm in the right mindset to say something. Reading good content inspires me to be more honest and thinker smarter about what I write. A lot of my own writing is done offline in my own private writing space. I love to write long hand but for my short hand I twitter poetry.
First of all the things are written then available for reading and after reading you get new ideas to explain the things in your words so both are part of the process and I do both.
Currently, I am reading blogs instead of writing anything on my own blog. Btw, I love sharing my nature photos which enables me to update my blog even I don't write anything nowadays.
When it comes to reading, I like going through all kinds of blogs. However, my favourites are those that aren't about any particular, focused topic, but are about life experiences in general, or random thoughts. Those I peruse most frequently and regularly.
And as for writing, I've recently started my own blog: http://ruminations-nt.blogspot.com/
Because I just started it, it is a work in progress. However, I love to update it, and do so quite often.
I like writing, because I get to voice my opinions and share things. When I come across a good blog, I like to read those too. I get to learn from them and possibly get more inspirations :)
please follow my blog at jacobthecat.blogspot.com if you would like :) if now, just take a look and feel free to comment :)
I got my first writing job at age eight as the Abesville 4H Club Reporter. Then, a childhood of non-paying writing positions: De Molay Scribe, FFA Reporter (for 3 years), Junior Class Reporter, Senior Class Reporter.
Thanks to Uncle Sam, I finally got a paycheck to write. Plus, Uncle exposed me to photographers.
Now, "Officially" retired, I still have the writing bug - so, I blog.
I do enjoy reading the different blogs on bloggers.
Still, I love to write and do photography. I would hope my articles, stories and posts challenge or inspire readers.
See I love to write but I cant keep on writting alone
I want some body to write then I read it and write in my opinion so it goes ROUND & ROUND & ROUND
It is a matter of 'attention span'. If you demonstrate verbiage in your blog posts, no one will spare the time or take the pain to read them. Learn to be crisp, concise and coherent. Ensure your post is 300 words or thereabout in length. I try to follow this rule. I also read blogs, which fall in this category.

Since my blog is built upon 'random' thoughts that just pop up at any given time about any subject I like to read blogs to get inspiration, but I prefer to write, no question about it.
I love writing and I want to improve how I write. I enjoy reading as well and there are a few blogs that I frequently visit , mostly tech blogs I must say but we all have our preferences.
I like reading more. Personal blogs, tech, how to guildes, etc. All those voices imspire and encourage me in my own writing that I do for the most part off line.
I'm pure pen to paper. The design of my look is what I have trouble with. I'm new to the blog community, but I feel like I should've been doing this a long time ago. Blogging is fun. My last couple blog posts have come out, and are being well received. I'll love for you guys to help me vote them higher if you feel they are worthy. Thanks.
I'm not sure.. I started off reading many blogs but started wanting to write my own. But writing can be tough, especially if you are not attracting the type of readership that you had hoped for. So I suppose reading?
I like to write when I want to make a point on a topic.
But when I know I am not going to make sense, I just settle by reading and be inspired by others' writing.
Since i have more of a visual blog. I enjoy finding really good ones and spend time reading them... i read even the comments!!! hahaha love the interaction between people and different thoughts.
Both... I love to read blogs to get inspired on different ways. I mean the life is all about to get inspired and make the inspiration to your own.
And I love to write on my blog, cause my blog is about some very important messages! I really hope I inspiring someone too with my very special blog... It is really like nothing else...

I read much more than I write. But I think it's only natural - you have to get inspired and educated before an idea gets hatched in your head. At least that's the case with me. So yes, I read read read, and then, when I am inspired, I go and write.
I love to write my blog daily, and keep girls updated of my personal looks and trends for this and next season.
I also like to read other famous fashion blogs like The Blonde Salad by Chiara Ferragni, Style Scrapbook, Fashionsquad, Style Heroine, Fashion Vibe, Atlantic Pacific, Cupcakes and Cashmere, Jak and Jil and could go on forever, i read this daily
