Seeking Sellers Advice ?

My wife makes jewelry for her shop on Etsy. She makes beautiful pendants and earrings. I try to help her on the site and try to promote her creations. She would like to increase sales. I write the descriptions and upload the photos. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it just the slow economy ?
