SEO Meta Tags & Keywords

Jae Mac on SEO, Meta Tags, Key Words, Search, Goggle

I am a newbie blogger and I was wondering how do you know if your keywords are working? It's probably a silly question, but if google a keyword should my blog post appear?

You should have your keywords placed in:

-Title tag, description tag, keyword tag.
-Keyword should be in your URL. http://yoursite.com/keyword or ideally -http://keyword.com.
- Keyword should be placed in h1 tags.
-Keyword should appear 1-3 % total in your articles.
- Keyword should be bolded once.

Make sure not to overdo this, because it will look spammy. This is just a basic onpage SEO that will "tell" google what keywords you want to rank for.

Hello Jae! Welcome to blogging. SEO tags on your blog is very important. Your blog domain, blog title, blog page description should all contain the keyword you want to rank for. For example, if your blog is to be about health, your domain could be something like http://jaehealthtips.blogspot.com, title: daily health tips from Jae, description: get regular updates on the latest health tips, diet plan and more... Ten you include your keyword choice in your keyword meta tag...
