If you dug a hole through the center of the earth,and jumped in, would you stay at the center because of gravity?

Would have to believe you would fall past the center because of inertia, then bounce back and forth eventually to the center. Could be wrong, but that is my observation on gravity and Issac Newton :)

Your question made me smile, well of course you will stay in the center because of gravity, unless you have a rope, opposed the gravity and climb up. Just like being deeply absorb by our personal problem and we cant simply move on unless we fight back and be normal once again
