I joined Bloggers. I'm not here for easy traffic or votes. I came here because it's a social site for bloggers and I wanted to meet some interesting people with some interesting blogs.

I'm not hating, I love a good fashion or how-to blog as much as the next person, but now I'm looking for some good meaty, interesting reads.

You know- poetry, short stories, mental health stuff, personal memoirs, personal anything. Give me ANYTHING and I will seriously read!!! DYING FOR SUBSTANCE!

Not sure if this is what you're interested in, but I have one blog about spiritual matters, sort of a combination of Chinese Daoism, Christian Mysticism, and Gnosticism (and martial arts philosophy).

Haha. Yeah I'm sorry I'm seeing now I was a bit vague. I guess what I meant to say is I am missing the social aspect of this site I thought I'd see ratger than just traffi hunters. It's dissapointing. But yeah I'll check anything out. But by substance I meant like... idk with personal connection? I'll get back to you on both blogs.

It seems like there are more blogs about blogging itself rather than actual blogs. Don't really see the demand on so much content on that, but I guess many people focus on traffic.

I write about what I dream, as in a diary. Don't know your definition of substance, but it's not fashion either! Feel free to visit, or not, I do remember I liked your blog, though, so keep putting a little bit of "substance" here for the rest of us in need of it!

I see what you are saying. I have seen a ton of fashion, makeup, and how-to techie blogs here, but many are very well done.

My blog is pretty new (and currently on hiatus as I have a major exam that I'm spending the next couple months preparing for), but I'd like to think I've touched upon some topics that are worth chewing on. There are so many good blogs out there and I know what you mean about people that are just interested in getting traffic and nothing else. Try the Blog Directory too as that can help you get more directly to the sorts of blogs you may be looking for too. Don't give up though as it does take a while to check out blogs to find what you are looking for.

My own blog is all about substance. A week or so ago I crested 100 published articles. On Friday I put out a weekly poem, and on Saturday I put out a serial webfiction story. Monday and Wednesday are articles on subjects that I truly care about. If you stop by, I hope you enjoy your stay!
