Ah the sun rises, At days like this I really love my apartment with a view on the east!
Today I should probably be painting my hallway.. Although it itches to finally start working on my bone ice runners. (Ice skates from the early periods before 0 a.d till the 18th century)
My design is gonna be quite simple.. Iam going to base it of the Birka and Dorestad findings. But I will take the advantage to get some grips on the uppersides of the skates, because I understand that the reports of some archaeologists that there was some trouble with the grip between the historical shoes and the skate it self..
now I hope to get a chance at skating this year.. last year there wasn't even enough ice to begin with!

Although I won't make it out of horse bones but out of cattle, because the lack of horse shins atm..

Not so bad for conversations. You have a lot of work ahead of you. Tell us how it turns out. But, I am not with you on the ice thing though. I am not a fan of the cold and I hate shoveling.
