The elected parliamentarians only promise and do not serve.

Thiruselvam K on ELECTED, FALSE PROMISES

Almost anywhere, electoral promise to serve is only to get that chair in Parliament to serve that individual's needs. Every cast vote and voter is forgotten. This is seen as as a universal problem. Everywhere it seems to appear that the more votes you get, the more luxurious life becomes. What do you think?

Politics ia a most profitable business specially in india, no risk of loss either u r in power or not.

Politics is profitable. Politics is self centered.
Politics is milking the masses for self gains with false promises. The greater majority of politicians simply do not seem to have the guts and rights to voice demands from the ruling government. There must be a way to awaken parliamentarians to serve others and not themselves.

ah, the sad facts of life...big fish eats small fish...if small fish finds a way to change this, it inevitably turns into a big fish and eats more small fish...

How many of us write letters to the Editors of local newspapers. These days, you do not have to type and visit the post office, to stick stamps and mail. e mail is acceptable by plenty of editors and newspapers. Voice yourself. Others will join in. Better to have voiced than to be grumpy. We cannot mould them all, but they will be cautious of actions.
