Thought of the day #4

LA Green

So a few days ago, a friend of mines posted, Happy birthday baby Jesus. In the comments section, another mutual friend of ours posted, "Have a Merry Christmas and God bless your family" you know, a simple and sincere message. Then out of the blue, another mutual friend of ours, comes on and bashes Christmas. Pretty much saying, "Christmas is a fake holiday, Jesus was not born on the 25th and Christmas is a Pagan holiday. Stop celebrating the day you heathen and get some knowledge about this day." Knowing of this....information, I wonder, How many people actually believe Christmas is not the real day when Jesus was born?

It's not the real day of Jesus birth that pretty much a fact. Saying that, it's the day people celebrate his birth. It's the queen she has her real birthday and her official birthday. It's no big deal.

What ever you want to call it Christmas, Yule, The day a fat man slides down your chimney....The message is the same, good will and togetherness and that's all that really matters

Here here Thehonestbitch although if you don't mind I would really rather call you Thehonestlady for my sake if you don't mind.
If someone checked up on the season it would be noted in luke that the season due to the watching over the flock during the night was done only in the spring time according to my information of their history, but what do I know.
The persons approach was poorly done but it is the good will that should be promoted but more than that it is the RESPECT and HONOR that we should be giving to Jesus and in search of him rather than in what we can get. J.M.O.

@ everyone. lol I still celebrate Christmas no matter. I heard and read it was a pagan holiday. I do believe in the bible but I have some different views on it (Teddy don't get at mad at me) Has anyone ever played the telephone game? If you have, you know that just among four people, the original message can become obscured or completely changed. So if four people, in the matter of 2 minutes can change a message, it makes me skeptical of the stories that were told in the bible; this is a old book that has been through many language changes; not to mention, the earth has been through quite a few changes itself. It's not nothing to argue about; I argued with this guy because he straight out attacked someone for saying Merry Christmas. I think it's an interesting topic to talk about; What everyone's view on Valentines Day, Easter and Halloween? Each one of these Holyday's said like Holidays has interesting story.
