Tired of this Traffic : Time Vs Investment

Prad B on Traffic, Blog Traffic, Site Traffic, Advertisement, Fashion, Money

The old trend of traffic was: 80% Google (Search Engines) & 12 % referral, 7% direct traffic, other 1 %

When i started blogging in 2009, i saw my traffic built up for the first time. It used to be: 60% Search Engines, 25 % referral (Articles), 5 % direct, 8 % Social N/wing & 2 % other.

Now, 2011, here we go: 25 % Search Engines, 30 % referral, 25 % Social N/wing, 6 % direct & 14 % other.

The point is: Focus used to be on Search Engine rankings. Now the trend is just opposite. Engaging more socially, writing up more articles, referring sites, back links, facebooking, tweeting, & the list goes on.............

On top competition & more blogs/sites popping up every hour. Who has time to do that all??? It's now $$ for the sake of traffic. And punching in some $$ is just like throwing dice on the floor. You win or u loose !

I know how you feel. Some people are begging for clicks and it's not like they're in for money alone but with times every little bit counts.

yes and here comes the G Giant with official release date for its new social thing the G Plus Aka G+ ... thats going to turn the social table now...Search + Social = Google...traffic means Google lol ..

Didn't you already post this topic? Or am I just having Deja Vu?

Despite the Social Networking revolution Google still rules the Web traffic.

Warren ∙ 21 Sep, 11

I agree and right now Google rules it with an iron fist. Today I read that Google is being slapped with charges on competition. They are making it even more difficult for people to earn from adsense.

Prad B ∙ 22 Sep, 11

Slapping google is now the old trend...everyone wants to pull down the good ones...adsense will continue now even more strong and wide on the giant's social network...gud luck guys

I just do it slowly and enjoy the ride. Of course I want to make money blogging but my blogging project is more of a long term one. I don't want to spend countless hours focusing on my blog while missing out on other things in life. I take things little by little.

I have a little note pad for my blog where I plan what I want to achieve and get done by the end of the week. That way I have a target to reach as well as a reasonable time frame to do it.

I like ur slow motivation...haha still notepad, thats cool....and i like the way u get it done by the end of week...i start with plans & always have a long list but never get it accomplished...hopefully someday i will when other things in life seems happy ;)

I took a look at your blogs and I'm sorry, they are not good.
There is even scientific misinformation in one of them
Maybe you should try to blog about what you really know and is passionate about because your blogs deals with subjects that have corporations working on them and you will never bit them.
You have five blogs that means nothing and full of advertisements.
I'm very sorry but you don't have the knowledge to accomplish what you want with these blogs of yours.
