I really can't offer much help, but I'm having the same issue myself. I do have a sponsorship page and offer ad space, but I have no idea how to get people to advertize on my blog!

Generating traffic requires a form of skill in marketing. Or in our case, Digital Marketing.
Leverage Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn).
Twitter feed makes it a great way to start conversations with people and live updates on what's goin on with your blog.
Facebook Page enables you to get a good following and somewhat reflects as a newsfeed towards your audience.
Google+ Page does the same.
LinkedIn if you are targeting the professionals, create a group, invite them in. Strike some interesting discussions.
All 4 of these can be leverage not just for traffic generation but also to give you some idea on what to blog next. Polls, Questions and Tips from your existing followers may be able to give you the article post that you need.

Same here :) but I don't have advertising page, b'coz my thinking is, they will come as long as your site have a good traffic flow :)

That's the first step: Get traffic.
2. Once you get enough traffic, make an advertisement page for advertisers to follow instructions.
3. Get more traffic in hopes that it converts from page viewers to paying advertisers.
4. Set the deal. PPM or PPC or CPA etc, with all the ratings. Be sure that its written in Black and white somewhere.
5. PROFIT!!!

To get advertisers, work on getting quality traffic and quality backlinks to your blog. I wrote tips on that o my blog. Then, get a custom domain for your blog. Once you have these up, visit blogsvertise.com, blogtoprofit.com, or bidvertiser.com.
I submitted to blogsvertise.com and my account was kept on pending when i get a custom domain. I have gotten one though but still working on my blog so i kept the ads on hold.

I don't have anywhere near that many visitors per day and I've had only a couple of folks turn me down. Amazon took me, and they have great ad widgets, but commission is low. Linkshare has lots of great companies, 90% of which will take you. Clickbank will probably take you, but most of their stuff is kinda spammy. Of course, AdSense, too.
With all of these it's really not a matter of if they require a zillion visitors, they'll give you ads, but if you don't have a zillion visitors, except in specific cases, you're not going to make much.
