The best ones for me have been a wrap around block below the title. So the ads are on the left and the text is wrapped around it on the right side. Then the second best is a block on the mid-sidebar. I want to bring this one up a bit to a higher position but I'm keeping the top spots for my FB likes, G+, and my newsletter so it gets pushed down to mid.

I have a small banner ad on the top right of my page but it doesn't get that many clicks. People seem to just go directly to the text now and are more aware of banner ads and instinctively avoid these. Might have to take this one out.
